We canât rave about this place enough. The food was the best we have had so far in France (Paris, Lyon and Provence). Service was excellent. Food was amazing. Really great value! Highly recommend. Dear friend,Thanks you very much for your amazing review. We are very honored to see that we are going to make part of your favorite food memories about your french trip ;-)Hope to see you during your next local trip.Best regardsLe Book-Lard

Trained by one of the master-chefs of Lyon, our head chef proposes fine dishes, superbly presented, and excellent taste combination with fresh produce.
Having been recommended this restaurant we treated ourselves for our anniversary. What a disspointment on every level! No special welcome, a party had booked the restaurant proper and without explaining this at the reservation time we were placed in an 'annex' a uniquely dour, cold sterile room off the main dining hall - service was slow and unhelpful. I orderd a starter of eggs scrambled and infused with truffle, an 8euro supplement on an already pricey 12euro starter. It arrived cold, very salty and with barely any truffle flavour, i called the waitress over and told her my comments, she said something along the lines of my not being familiar with this dish as it was a classic french dish (implying I, clearly not being french had no clue what i was eating) she took my dish back to the kitchen and arrived a few mintues later with another starter, I was given no choice just had it plonked in front of me. She then told me she and the chef has tasted the dish and in fact it was not cold, nor salty and that was the flavour it was supposed to have!!! Incredibly insulting and rude. The main courses were nothing special but the wine was delicious - as we chose a beautiful bottle of Burgundy for 70euro. The bill was over 160euro and we neither of us felt any part other than the 70euro was worth it!We are sorry for your inconvenience , but we have not been kept informed by the waitress to also no longer with usWe present our apologiesIs there something you liked about us?Annex which you speak is second rather charming dining hall !SorryMN Pipon

What a lovely, interesting, surprising meal...fantastic ingredients, expertly cooked.... well deserved first spot...highly recommend a visit..Had the six courses, with matched wine....well worth it..not to much food, not to little...my only suggestion is to keep the wine coming...making people wait with empty glasses...Thank you Carmen for your feedback, highly appreciated ! We're pleased to read that you enjoyed your experience at La Mutinerie. Concerning wine pairing, we understand your point of view, it's always a big deal to decide rather to fill your glass up with the wine that follows and matches the next meal when it is not ready to be served, because we're afraid you won't have any wine left to pair it with the meal... But we'll work on that for sure !Hope to welcome you again soon, Best regards,

I love vegetables but invariably chefs find it difficult to produce, wonderful, inventive dishes without the star being meat or fish. Not here! Everything from the amuse Bouche to the dessert was incredible. A purée of carrots with carrot jelly and diced carrot was fresh and full of flavour. My risotto of fine herbs and tomatoes, was light and fresh with the aroma of the south of France in summer. The piece de resistance was a chocolate and blonde brownie with chocolate mouse. So delicious it was a taste of heaven. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Obviously passionate about what they were doing. A really fantastic find.

A last minute booking for a Sunday lunch with the family.Great surprise, first through the warm welcome from the crew. Second looking a the menu with a large selection of starters and entrées.As we were 7 we had the opportunity to taste a bit of nearly every dishes. The food is very good, with nice and thick pieces of meat. Pâté end croute is a must and deserve the stop.I highly recommend the place.

4 adults and two children attended the celebration. Catering for the children (9yrs and 6yrs,can be awkward eaters!) was no problem to the catering staff, they presented the boys with a very enjoyable meal. For the adults, the waiter gave us time, helped with explanation of the menus, and, had lots of patience. The three course meals were excellent, and the wines lovely. This was a Sunday lunch time, the street was quiet so we sat outside, sun shone, and so did the staff. We were all highly impressed with the staff being so courteous to us, making the 45th anniversary a great experience.

I went to the Tiroir for a business lunch with colleagues. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff very friendly. For started we had Tomato and mozzarella with strawberries, that had a very nice and fruits taste. A very small portion though, that could have been a little bit more. For the main dish I took the salmon gravlax, which was very tasty and highly recommend!! :-) I treated myself even to a Café Gourmand, a selection of a few little desserts.

In a magnificent building of the 16th century, with a panoramic view dominating the Sâone, built in very beautiful stones, vaults are valued with 2 creations of Lyonnais artists to bring an exceptional touch without distorting the essence first . With its
Came here with 10 colleagues on a lovely summer evening. Most of us were surprised by the lovely terrace setting with jazzy background music in front of a historical boathouse .The service was nice but sometimes not reachable. However, when ordered, food or drinks were coming fast. The menu is small. There is a dinner menu option available for 35⬠with choice between 2 starters, 2 mains and 5 desserts or cheese. I personally went for this option and had a nice olive tart with beef followed by herb crusted sea bream fillet. The cheese platter was not their strengths but the rest tasted well. I ordered cured meat tapas, I was served a pre-sliced, fridge-cold HUGE portion of meat. Obviously, the meat was stuck together and dry. The cheese tapas and the bread were good.As main I chose something from the specials board. Mushroom tagliatelle. I received a hideous dish of tagliatelle floating in some awful liquid (see pic).Very disappointed.Thank you for your message. We owe you an apologize for the meal. Weâre sorry you didnât like it. Restaurant - Wine Bar - Cellar Cooking of the Market
Most recently we ate lunch on the terrace here on market day. It was bustling, and offers a great vantage point for people-watching. The menu du marché is excellent value - really fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and tasty. The portion size is not so big that you can't manage three courses if you want to. They cater well for kids, with homemade nuggets or a fillet of fish and potatoes or vegetables followed by ice cream. The environment is smart without being pretentious. This is my local and I am delighted that it exists. In the evening, the food is a little more expensive, but the quality remains excellent and so it offers good value for money.
