Nice restaurant . The duck and foie gras salad was very good. Service could be improved a little but it was fine. Really nice decor and ambiance inside.

With plenty of tables outdoors in the village's quiet main street this is a great place to eat in the summer. Very good gazpacho, outstanding tomato carpaccio, tasty snails, tender fillet steaks, wonderful chips, well filled mushroom ravioli (though a little too drenched in creamy sauce) and a fruit crumble with plenty of fruit (but, as so often, not enough cream). Really nice staff who spoke excellent English.

On the outskirts of Salernes (not far from the Lidl) is this wonderful place for fine dining. We have tried the top 5, and this restaurant was hands down the best!Only fresh seasonal products are cooked here with great eye for detail and for a very reasonal price.

This is a beautifully positioned restaurant just outside the wonderful village of Tourtour. The inside of the restaurant was made up of several small interconnecting rooms which gave a nice secluded atmosphere. We went during the truffle season and had their special truffle menu. Though this was very expensive they did use a helluva lot of truffle and it was superb. In fact, I don't think my wife will want to,eat any more truffle until next year. It was even in the dessert! Delicious. The choice of digestives was very limited but just about adequate. It was difficult to judge the service because it was lunchtime and very quiet so there as no pressure but it seemed suitably professional . It was not my first time and it won't be my last!

Endroit simple où lâon se retrouve en toute convivialité lors dâun café où dâun repas .. Café,déjeuner, viennoiseries, saladerie, plats chauds, burgers ,desserts, boissons.
This restaurant is on the main road between Salernes and Draguignan and only really technically in Villecroze . Its not really a venue for tourists visiting the village as its about 3 k from the centre and is frequented by locals wanting good quality food at a reasonable price and its easy to park Its open very early for locas to have breakfast on the way to work and for lunch . In winter its not open for dinner but suspect in summer it might open because its close to a couple of camp sites . Our party of 8 had an excellant lunch we nearly all had fish and chips which were good and the others had burgers which also looked great . Its not a gourmet experience just good quality basic burgers salades and pasta with a few extra dishes , The owners are friendly and attentive . Its the sort of place you would drive past without a second glance but if you want a quick lunch at a cheap price take the time to stop as its better than many in the area .Bonsoir ChristopherNous vous remercions pour votre très agréable et gentil commentaire sur lâescale..en espérant vous revoir très bientôt..Nathalie et Laurent .

But the lack of English wasn't a barrier. They did everything they could to explain everything to us to ensure we had a great experience and they succeeded. Wonderful meal. Great atmosphere. Good prices. I'll go back if I'm in the area.

a young couple working together to make a success for themselves. The food is good, not great. I am not a professional chef but a professional eater and each dish was okay, it was just missing something to make it great. The service was outstanding. Sylvain in the front of house is the main reason we would return. The hotel that houses the restaurant is a little old and dated. Perhaps, over time they could personalize the space and update it to reflect their vision and personality.I want them to succeed. As previously mentioned in another review they even treated our dog as a guest. What do I know? Please go and give them the chance. We will.

We fell upon this small restaurant while hungry last Sunday and it was a real treat. Unprepossessing exterior and equally simple interior were all unimportant once one started to eat (and we were lucky- we got the last table). Correct Salade de Gisiers and then an exceptional haunch of Rabbit braised in Cider- the flesh moist and tender. Excellent waitress was pleasant and very efficient and happy to catch your eye (Wow !) A place worth finding out .

It was restaurant week in France with many restaurants participating in the 2 for 1 offer. This was one of the participating restaurants. We were given a table on the terrace as requested, and given the special menu for the offer. 4 starters, of which we would receive all 4 (2 of each), a choice of 4 main courses and 4 desserts, all for 35 Euros for both of us. Fantastic value. The food was superb - foie gras on toast with fig jam, chopped salmon and cucumber in a sauce in small glasses, thin smoked ham with shaved parmesan cheese, and pieces of cheesy pizza, all for starters. We oth had the beef fillet which cut like and dream and tasted just as good. Only very minor criticism, it wiuld have been nice ot have just a few vegetables, and less french fries.I had a gooey chocolate fondant, and my husband a gaspacho of pineapple with ice. All very very tasty. Good bottle of Brouilly, plus water, and we left feeling great. Would highly recommend this place.
