Lunch on a Saturday. Limited choices for entree or plat, but an emphasis on beef so I ordered the planche of three types of beef, saignant (e36). Two were fine but tough, the third ("chef's selection") was cold and tough. The tuna plat, a special, was ok. We tried three of the estate's wines: good for the region and well made but this is simply not a great wine zone. Service was friendly and good.

Our restaurant is located in an atypical and warm place in front of the Sainte Victoire mountain, in the heart of our mill and wine cellar. Our chefâs cooking is inventive and gastronomic with all the flavours of Provence : you will discover the products
Food very good value, service attentive.Terrace when it's too hot inside. Wine choice limited to the Winery production, but that makes it easier to choose, doesn't it ?Nothing to criticise really, there's also a shop to buy wine, olive oil from the property and other locla products (honey, what have you.)

Le Saffran is a delightful restaurant in the small village of Trets. Over the course of a week we actually ate here twice and both times were treated to well prepared and presented dishes. Our first visit was late on the night of the day we arrived from the U.S. and wanted something light and the menu had salads which fit the bill. We returned a few nights later and were once again treated to an excellent meal. The menu has a sufficient variety of entrees and the portions are generous. The waitresses are hardworking and helpful and dining outside was a treat. We highly recommend Le Safran if you in the area.
