This is a great country French restaurant in Vains, about 2 miles from Avranches. My group ate here while we stayed at the Ramade Hotel in Avranches and the dinner was tasty and cooked as I had expected of a French restaurant. As the name implies, their crepes were awesome! I would not hesitate to eat here again.

Fantastic lunch at a family-run cool wine bar/restaurant in downtown St. Brieuc. Cap de Frehel oysters, Cabillaud fish and chips, chocolate fondant for dessert. SCRUMPTIOUS! Top notch, attentive service too!

Au restaurant La PASTA TCHOUTA les pates à pizza sont préparées maison et garnies avec des produits de qualités. N'hésitez pas !!! Venez vous régaler...
The entrance didn't look too inviting (we later realised that it's in the process of being painted), but inside was a surprise - so clean and fresh. We were looking for lasagne - something simpler to eat. It was delicious, and served with a small salad on the side (not usual in France) with the dressing being drizzled to the bottom rather than just on top. Desserts yummy. A place that locals enjoy, and the staff were very friendly.

We loved this modern, stylish cafe/restaurant in central Saint-Brieuc, and the fixed-price lunch was amazing value - a main course (baked salmon in a tomato sauce, with mashed potato with hazelnuts), desert (a tangy lemon tarte, and some gooey soft chocolate cake), and a glass of wine - for under 13 euros. One of us also had the melted goats cheese and honey on toast - which was incredibly tasty. The service was extremely friendly and quick, and they cater very well for young children (there's a toy kitchen in one corner for them to play with). Be sure to get their early - it's deservedly full at lunchtime - though they do take reservations.

Everything we had was exquisite. We had a foie gras and a goat cheese as apperitives. The foie gras was was very good and the goat cheese apperitive was a suprising combination of goat cheese, macerated tomatos and a topping of caviar served in a glas like those used for margueritas to be had with spoon and some buttered fresh rols. The taste of the mix - great. Our mains were monk fish - excellent and duck with some vegetables and a great sauce - it was surprisingly tasty and it was the first I had duck made almost rare and still soft and tasty. We had both cheese and sweets for deset - al very good - and the sweets I would have a hard time to name, they where mostly new to me. The wine selection was good. Service was attentive and efficient - although a some knowledge of English and at least a menu in English would have made our selection easier. The setting is modern and pleasant. The price was on the high side of moderate but worth it considering the quality.

We discovered this place by accident just walking down the street. The owners were so nice, friendly and helpful. The place is very popular so we were lucky to get a table. They cook all of the meats in a big, open fireplace and the restaurant has a wonderful ambiance. If we lived here, it would be one of our go to places-comfortable, cozy and a huge varied menu.

Having visited St Brieux, we were looking for a good place to have a nice dinner. We were very happy to have found and visited this restaurant. Sitting just outside the city center in a boring street, you wouldn't immediately find this restaurant. Inside the setting is very tasteful, keeping a relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and guided to a pleasant table. Staff was very professional and kept a steady pace without rushing anything. We both ordered the Degustation menu; 7 courses of the chefs choice of what he has on offer.Phenomenal food and flavors in beautiful compositions were offered to us. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish and bite. Entrees, main dishes, desserts all was delightful. Given this very fine quality we find the price very, very acceptable if not modest. We will definitely revisit this place when in the neighborhood!

A pleasant little creperie. Very popular and not in the tourist area. The desserts wete particularly good. My husband had the crepe suzette and said he should have had 2 of them instead of savoury and sweet crepes. Advisable to make a reservation as some people got turned away.

We reached it based on TA reviews and where somewhat dissapointed. The food felt like it has been prepared for the day before - we had a green salad with andouille and and a warm camembert with mushrooms. The andouille was excellent the camembert tastelless. We had also a beef skewer and a chiken breast wrapped in bacon - both edible but hardly memorable. We had also the house red wine - good. An average dinner. You had the VERY RARE PRIVILEGE to eat in a restaurant where EVERYTHING FROM A TO Z IS HOMEMADE with FRESH LOCAL products ONLY !!! Not enough for you.... The chicken was FARMER + LOCAL and the superior ham is also farmer and local, homemade by MASTER CHARCUTIER and the prestigous and delicious cheese Timadeuc is also local !!!! The "beef" is of course also fresh local meat breed... Why did you give a 5.00 euros tips and a big ( false ) smile when you leaved our restaurant ? Eat a sandwich next time and FORGET US.... By the way, poor soul, NEVER FORGET, just never forget that the french cuisine is the BEST OF THE WORLD. We ARE VERY PROUD to be recognize by the very prestigious and very rare approval of College culinaire de France / Foundation by Paul Bocuse who recognizes ONLY the good restaurants who cook ONLY fresh and locals products..... PS : We cook EVERYDAY FRESH PRODUCTS !!!!! PS 02 : Mushrooms in our camembert ???? PS 03 : YOU are very mediocre and surely not my meals..... PS 04 : We accepted you despite we were full .... to read that after !!!!!!!!!!! R. THOLLON / CHEF
