This creperie offers a delicious and very reasonably priced menu. The entire operation is run by the owner who hustles back and forth from table to kitchen to keep your dining experience going. The galette Locmaria was a definite keeper but the options are endless. Check it out.

Recently re-opened after months of renovation the old Hotel du Phare has been done over in Parisian style: chic decor by Jean Michel Wilmotte, giant ceramic pictures of fish and sea creatures on the walls, black and white furniture, very cool and minimalist,.The view on the Harbour is enhanced by beautifully designed windows .The menu also seems minimalist: no elaborate description of recipes and no frills. The fish we had was excellent and not overcooked though the filet of bass was rather skimpy.and the garnish almost absent.Service was disorderly , the personnel obviouly not yet up to par.Tables are cold to the touch without tablecloths(part of the trend)Prices are rather high considering, but the clientele probably will follow in Sauzon.

This restaurant is not the most "show off" in Sauzay but probably one of the most sympathic, with her quite eccentric "patronne". Special mention for different making of "Moules" (mussels), the brandade is very good, too.

Very friendly owner who warmly treats each customer like they are special. Made to order delicious crepes with all natural and organic ingredients. We had the complete galette with ham, cheese and egg, a bottle of organic cider and finished with 2 sweet crepes, butter/sugar and homemade chocolate covered with toasted almonds all while overlooking the harbor with its boats and activity....in all a wonderful experience and will return often. We did not have any room for ice cream but there were a lot of people lining up for the ice creams made with real fruits and all natural ingredients ....

We've eaten at le Bernardin both in Paris and NY. This place blows it away. Seafood platter(oysters. Shrimp. Langoustines, little and big sea snails) superb at â¬33. I had their set menu. I chose fresh sardines, mullet and apple tart. â¬22. Friendly service. "La cale" means boat ramp or launch because fishermen and other boaters often the tie up there. English is welcome. Brittany is truly wonderful.

We went here just for a drink and an ice-cream. It is on a very nice location near the sae, the waitress was very kind, the view around was great. And the ice-cream was tasty, too.

We walked along the sentier cotier between Sauzon and La Pointe des Poulains and stopped over at la Ferme de Sarah - the restaurant of the Golf. We were outside on the terrace looking over the peaceful and windy golf course with swallows flying by. The food was delicious: everything is home made - beautiful quiches, good quality beef, amazing home-made French fries, salads and a special note for the home-made pavlovas at desert with home-made vanilla chantilly and fresh fruit! Children LOVED it too! The service was charming and quick and we even got recommendations for the remainder of our trek and transport back to our hotel. Warmly recommended!

My wife and I went with a 4 friends for lunch at l'Abri Cotier, having heard that it was a new owner. We were not disappointed.Tasty, innovative meals and ability to seat on the terrace or inside, both having same great view on Sauzon's port. The service was OK. Maybe lacking a bit of "heart" or "warmth" but OK.Prices are decent for the quality of the food.We will go back there.

What a delightful dinner! A smaller establishment with delicious offerings on the menu and on the palate. Lamb (had to have been localâthe island is crawling with sheep and this was unbelievably tasty) and a lobster/sweetbread combination were prepared and served impeccably. From the amuse bouche to the desserts (mixed raspberry/strawberry combination and a citrus sorbet) everything was unforgettable. Except the bread: to call it ordinary would be a complimentâit is far below the very high standard of every other part of this wonderful dining experience. But when the bread is the only drawback, you go and just avoid the bread basket. We would return there in a heartbeat.
