Friendly service here, and, hallelujah, no TV or background music (in its self worth a point).Food is the usual moules frites, burgers, steaks or grilled fish, nothing exceptional but something for everyone at a very reasonable price. They have dessert crêpes, which is a nice complement to moules frites, and coffee from "la maison du bon café" (one of the best coffee brands in bars in the south of France).Going back to the moules frites, my mussels were not adequately cooked, the first time in thirty years in France, but they put that right gracefully and rapidly, which also is worth a point.I'd say for the food it's 3/5, but add in the service and the position on the marina/port then it is worth the 4th point.

Nice place for a relaxing meal by the beach. It has many hamburger choices for those Americans that don't want to jump into the local cuisine. I tried a very good bruschetta made with fresh tuna. They also have severalgod dessert choices. I tried the creme brulle which was excellent.

This little restaurant is big on service and culinary delights! We were on a University Study tour and stayed not far from La Cabane .. we discovered it one lunch time and then returned three more times to savor the wonderful daily specials of lamb shank, Canard and seafood. Highly recommend dining at this restaurant.

Restaurant close to the sea. We had the menue for 35 ⬠and the first course wit hthe Souffle de Merlan was good and a quite large dish, unfortunately the 2nd course with the pintade (guinea fowl) was not fresh cooked, it has a taste of reheated, the dessert with an ice cream of curd cheese OK. The wine prices are a bit on the high side, they are starting at about 35 ⬠for a bottle of standard wine. - All in all it was OK, the service professional friendly but not so much interested and the quality in regard of price not really good.

Very hot - no Air Con, limited seating (nearly on top of each other), not child friendly.Steak Entrecôte was very grisly! and fatty.

Friendly staff who speak good English. Menu fairly small but enough choice and food lovely. We had the chicken burger which was really fresh-tasting. Restaurant is right on the beach but they have canvas shutters which can come down if weather turns bad which it did! Didn't stop us enjoying our experience though! Thanks for your message.

For me the best boat trip to see the Calanques is from Cassis. I' take the trip of 3 Calanques. To me the first three are more beautiful

restaurant familial, cuisine traditionnelle, Provençale. Family restaurant, traditional cuisine, Provençale.
Monday evenings appear to be quiet in Sausset so chose L'Amphore as it was relatively more bustling than anywhere else that had chosen to open. Didn't have high hopes but the food and service definitely exceeded our expectations. We had a moderately priced set menu that included good mussels, squid stuffed with mince, fish soup and chocolate cake for dessert. All dishes were more than adequate. Little English was spoken by the staff and little French spoken by ourselves but despite that the overall impression was of a warm and friendly restaurant without pretensions. Would have returned had we spent another evening in the town.

We stopped there in a Sunday evening because the place looked nice and quiet, without loud music some. The staff was very nice and welcoming. However the food was average. Looking at the other comments I should have maybe order plancha item rather than the fried seafood (obviously not home made), but my boyfriend order the "espadon à la plancha" and it was a bit overcooked and not seared as you would expect... Overall a bit disappointing and the nice staff was all that upgraded it from poor to average. Thankssee you soon !!:))
