Great for couples, solo or groups. Various set menus at 24, 30, or a la carte. Signature is the duck brochette hanging from vertical steel ring. Daube excellent. Puddings also brilliant, Service slowish (78 covers), maybe a bit understaffed, suggest get there early. 7.15. Eat outside on the narrow terrace under plane trees. Only quibble is v limited kids menu,

Located in a pretty town of Provence, restaurant of refined traditional cuisine. Epicureans at heart, we have a selection of cocktails, as well as a wide range of wine and spirits; That go well with our chefâs cooking. We welcome you every lunchtime from
Came across this restaurant by accident whilst walking around the streets of Carpentras. We booking a table for our last day of holiday. The person who answered the phone spoke English and was very helpful. The restaurant is lovely with an nice outside courtyard at the back, where we sat. There was a set menu but the owner was a pains to stress that if there was anything we would like, he would try to facilitate it. We all had three courses, three beef and one duck for main. The food was amazing and very tasty. The deserts were gorgeous. They gave us a complimentary liqueur at the end. I would highly recommend, the cost for four people, three courses + wine and cocktails was â¬214.00, I think for what we got and the service provided this was good value. Would highly recommend

Charming staff and delicious food at a very reasonable price. The little village is typically french and sleepy, the location is so easy as just 5 mins from the main road. A real little gem of a place, would definitely recommend.

If your bread, your cake or your lunch isn't a delight, you're not at Augusta's !
We were driving passed St. Didier, desperately looking for some food. While driving, our attention is grabbed by âAugustaâ bakery. They have a wide variety of different pastries (sweet and salted), drinks and the people working there are extremely kind. The food tastes extremely good (i recommend the salmon sandwich) and the whole atmosphere inside the bakery is really relaxing after hours of driving ;)

Auberge St. Roch has only 16 seats, and no outdoor patio. It's decor is very plain. But the food is SPECTACULAR. Each plate is a small masterpiece of design and color, you could be in a 3-star in Dijon! If you are in Beaumes, do not miss having a mean here. Fine wine list of great local reds, tiny menu, it all adds up to something special. We went back the next night - and it was still great the second time. Go!

Bistronomy
Bistro 23 is the most amazing surprise during our 8 day stay in Provence. We went mainly because they were open on Sunday night; and experienced The BEST food we had the entire trip. Every single dish was unique, complex, and memorable. Not Michelin food, better with whole portions of the best food we have had in France ever! This restaurant is a Must go to when touring Avignon, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Orange and the surrounding wine country. We wish we had discovered sooner as would have gone back until having tried every single item on the menu. Thanks Bistro 23.

We arrived shortly after 7pm and received excellent service, avoiding the 8pm rush. The fois grois starter with a macaroon was delicious, the quail entree was spectacular, probably the best quail I've ever had, boneless and so tasty. The side of truffle blue cheese mashed potatoes was divine. The desert was also delicious and all on a â¬32 tasting menu. Our total bill was under â¬100 with a bottle of wine and 2 glasses of white wine to start. Competing with the best meal on our trip and we went to a Michelin 3 star. A real foodie find. Would highly recommend!

We stopped by chance here for lunch on the public holiday on May 8th. The guy who served us was so helpful, we have little French and he had good English and was able to explain the plat du jour perfectly. The lamb skewer with maison frites and salad was delicious. The dessert du jour was annais (pineapple) with ice cream and then meringue flambed. It was a bit like a bombe alaska but using fresh pineapple - a treat to the taste buds. We'll be back staying in the region again next year and hope that we can visit more than one time for a meal and for the excellent service and sense of fun that the restaurant provided. The food was well priced and very good quality. It would be a great spot to sit for apero outside, under a vine shaded area, as well as for a full meal.
