Home Made Ice Cream Since 1984Food & DrinkTerrace on stilts in the Marina
We came here as recommended in the guide book and because we are huge ice-cream fans! We were not disappointed - the ice-creams were amazing with loads of flavour choice and huge (we could easily have shared one between 2 adults). The light lunch menu was also excellent and the service fast, friendly and extremely tolerant of our limited French!! However, be warned this is not a cheap place where the ice-cream is concerned - be prepared to pay 10 euros for your dessert which we viewed as an end of holiday treat so didn't begrudge it but it certainly isn't an everyday experience. In short we loved it!

Nice little place to eat/drink within walking distance of the marina. We had a drink here one day and then lunch the next day.The panini's we had were delicious and the service was first class.Very good value for what you got.

Restaurant de plage avec bar à cocktail. Cuisine de type méditerranéenne, poissons et viandes grillés au feu de bois. Ambiance lounge et music live.
The restaurant had just reopened. The setting overlooking the beach is beautiful and the place is well decorated. The food was OK but nothing exciting. The filet of beef was not as tender as it should be and the sauté de veau was swimming in sauce. On the other hand, I had to ask for sauce for the filet and only after refusing the ketchup, mayonnaise or mustard the waitress asked for something else. I opted for sauce au poive for which I was charged 1.50⬠extra. Not a big deal but a bit lacking in class for a restaurant purporting to be of this caliber.

This is a longstanding large family owned and run restaurant in Sari-Solenzara. The atmosphere is very cosy with Corsican furniture, loads of items collected over the years by the owner hanging from the walls and many interesting photographs. The owners are very charming and the staff fealty nice. Food is authentic, hearty and plentiful and the deserts are homemade and just delicious. This place is not to be missed!Lot of thanks for your visitSee you soonBest regards

Ordered Moules Marinières + Frites, and a Panaché. Served Moules Marinières + Oven Potatoes with Herbs. No exchange offered.Moules Marinières were fresh but over salty.Good fresh bred and nice Pietra Panaché.Location is nice and quiet.Service is minimally good and friendly. Not enough to motivate someone to come again.

We enjoyed a meal here with 3 adults in early June. The waitress was exceptionally kind and would help us with english translation of the french menu. The food was without fail, delicious, and we all enjoyed both a main and dessert. The wine, whilst expensive, was very nice. This seemed like a popular choice in Solenzara and I can totally understand why. Would recommend.Thank you for your comment on our restaurant ! We are very pleased that you enjoyed being at LBJ's. Hope to see you again !

Enjoyed a birthday treat evening meal at this quayside restaurant in the heart of Solenzara. The staff were very obliging offering a quite extensive and varied menu of some 'French' staples and several interesting dishes. The service was prompt and the food was good. There is a reasonable wine list mainly offering Corsican wines. The restaurant is popular [always a good sign] so booking may be advisable especially during the peak season.
