When I'm waiting for a bus under the rain in January, when I'm stuck on the tube and I can't stand it anymore, I think about being at Campoloro. To me, it's the most peaceful, pleasant and heavenly place in the world. The manager, Pierre, loves his job so much it'll make your heart melt. The atmosphere is fantastic but the food is often quite nice too, especially the sea food options. At noon, the music is lovely and you can go take a nap on the beach when you're satisfied.

We found this restaurant while staying in nearby talasani - it is high in the mountains with a terrace affording spectacular views of the distant coastline and the isle of monte christo.Food - well this was as good as the view. We had a shared octopus salad starter which was well presented and sufficient for two. It was tasty and well presented. Our mains were a local veal steak with a herb butter, it was first class and cooked well. The flavours were delicate and subtle. The other main was a homemade ribbon pasta with local charcuterie called lonzo and corpse mushrooms. Again very good.Overall the food was as good as the view and if visiting this beautiful area make sure you visit this restaurant. Our only regret was that we were flying home and didn't get the chance to try another meal!

We have been going to A Pota Marina for a few years, since I have family in the region and we visit every summer. This year we went with a group of friends, and as everyone found it was very good food at an excellent price, we returned several times and were never disappointed. The service is good and friendly, great choice of food, a great deal (3 course meal for 16 Euros) and the location is ideal.

After arriving on Saturday we walked in to La San Carlu early on Sunday evening with no reservation. We were lucky enough to get a table for 5 outside where the fans on the canopy made for a pleasant cool atmosphere on the terrace.Straight to mains and two of us had local fish from the specials menu and that has to be a recommendation. Beautifully fresh fish cooked really well and when you munch through 7 fish for dinner you canât really complain about value. Also moulds frite was excellent and the staff are happy to change dishes from the menu on request.A lovely fresh white wine from the list of Corsican origin accompanies the fish dishes superbly.Just enough room for a local dessert - Pastizza and again well worth trying.Great food, excellent staff and a brilliant evening.Definitely be going to Paella night on Thursday.

Corsican cook, the restaurant is located in Cervioni in the crypt of the cathedral. 40 covers, interior and external room.
When we were on the Island of Corse (Corsica) when the luck to visit the small city of Cervioni. There we found a pittoresc restaurant with the name of "Aux Trois Fourchettes".The "ambiance" in this restaurant is wonderfull. The owners are very friendly people who give their guests of feeling of "being at home".The meals are great and it is impossible to describe all the delicious dishes that we had. Therefore we did go back a few times in one week, and everytime we had a great time. The owners surprised us with free fruit from their own garden when we left the restaurant.Really, we won't forget the hospitality of these two people. It is my duty to share this experience with other travellers. This restaurant is one thing you shoud not miss in Corsica....(The adress: Place de l' église - 20221 Cervioni

This was virtually the only place in the DK Eyewitness Guide at an appropriate stopping point on the road south from Bastia. There was nothing wrong with the lunch we had but the dishes had only very basic ingredients - mainly lots of tomato in every dish (and not a lot else!), and although fresh, they were not really proper salads or main courses. It was hot and everyone was sitting outside but it was in a large concrete veranda with not much character, and the staff were pretty disinterested. It looked like there was a nicer shady garden with a few tables but they weren't in use when we were there. It really did not feel special and we felt we did not get great value for money.

What a great place. We passed by in the dark and from the outside it just looks like a small stone cottage, from the inside it is just beautiful renovated. staff is very friendly and extremely helpful and even happy to translate the menu (french only). The food is amazing and the prices are really ok. great place to enjoy a lovely dinner in nice atmosphere.

Have been here for a couple of times - both with the intention of eating their ice cream.A massive menu. Huge ice desserts and a great variation of tastes. The menu card, which mostly consists of ice cream in the afternoon, also have a dessert-section - just in case you wanted a cookie after the ice cream galore.Nice view over the harbour. Quiet location. Nice smiling staff.
