A French Restaurant with an original concept where we only cook fresh and local products.A pleasant place with a Terrace and a Spices garden.Perfect for lunching in Summer.Nside the restaurant you can discover a small french library for childrens and pare
Nice setting although the garden is a little overgrown and wild! We ate in the conservatory surrounded by dusty tables. There was only one other party of three. The table was laid with those ghastly paper table mats advertising other places in the locality. There was very little choice. I opted for the 25⬠menu which consisted of some salad, goats cheese and some nasty tasting chicken rilettes. My main course of boeuf roti was acceptable but mum's chicken had obviously been re-heated and was tough and tasteless. The chocolate mousse was fine but was accompanied by some sort of flabby cake come cheesecake come flan. I had cheese, three pieces that tasted aIl the same. The restaurant had no ambience and seemed to be run by one lady who did all the cooking and serving. Disappointing.

We were told about this restaurant by the people we rented from. It is located next to the Leclerc supermarket. We checked out the menu and as one of our party is vegetarian it looked ok. The food was ok but nothing to get excited about but the service was terribly slow.

In line with its long tradition of hospitality, the Hôtel Saint-Martin offers generous cuisine, delighting gourmets and gourmands alike. Under the direction of the head chef, our team concocts dishes of traditional French cuisine for your utmost pleasure.
We eat in this restaurant having stayed in the hotel. The food was disappointing and they were unable to provide any gluten free bread for my coeliac wife. Why is France so far behind when it comes to providing these things. It seems that the restaurant is stuck in the 1970's like the hotel. We arrived for dinner and were offered a table outside. I am not keen on sharing my food with flies and other insects so asked for a table in the restaurant. We were then informed that this wasn't possible so I asked for directions to another nearby restaurant. After further discussions we were told that we could eat inside after all.We both went for their set gourmet menu. The starter that I had was 3 types of melon and some Spanish ham, tasty enough but uninspiring for a so called high end restaurant. My wife reported that her salmon dish was good. We followed this with guinea fowl which had been prepared two ways but they weren't able to provide the peas it was to come with and offered beans which I declined so ended up with some soggy chips. The meat served off the bone was dry and overcooked though the leg meat was fine. I opted for the profiterole for pudding which I thought would come with choux pastry but it was a very sugary sweet sponge and the rest of the dish wasn't great.Despite the comments from others about the food we were very disappointed and felt that it was very poor value for money.. The wine was also overpriced.Dear Madam, Dear Sir,We had the pleasure to welcome you to the Hotel Saint-Marti, and thank you for your opinion which is precious to us, your remarks help us to progress. We sincerely regret that you have encountered these disappointments during your stay and thank you for taking the time to tell us about it.The decor may not be at your taste. We actually aimed to go to the pizza place along the road, because it looked inviting, but it was full. However, despite the rather formal look of the restaurant from outside it was welcoming and comfortable and our dog, beneath the table, caused no stir. We are always a bit suspicious of larger menus band chose the scallop linguine with slight trepidation (being so far from the sea). But it was delicious, rich, sweet and creamy- a real treat. The dessert was good. So, with friendly service and such good pasta, we were glad we'd eaten here.

The restaurant which offers food from La Reunion is in a tastefully decorated shack .The food is a mixture of Indian , Thai and others and is tasty. They provided a Combawa sauce, (Kaffir Lime) which was exceptional, to go with the guinea fowl curry which was tasty and nicely prepared. We started with samosas and finished with flambeed banana.Very good , reasonably priced and well worth a try.

Staying overnight in La Chateau De Fontenelle, We wanted somewhere other than the hotel to eat. We fancied Italian and found this to be the nearest one. I had Carpaccio I knew it was beef bit did not understand it was raw. Nevertheless rather than be rude I brought all my English reserve to the table and threw it away. With a stiff upper lip I tried a bit and surprisingly found it to be very good. I just had to keep telling myself it's not raw, it's pastrami to get over the mental culture block. It was nice enough. My husband had steak, ironically, bien cuit, and I washed mine down with a well deserved blond beer and followed my meal up with a trio de fromage. This was also very tasty.Hubby was still hungry so opted for the ravioli Bolognese. All dishes were prepared and cooked well apart from the raw beef.. that was not cooked but still good.Would go there again. All this for 45 euros. Very good value. Friendly staff and owner. Nice people. Made us feel welcome. I would go there again in a heart beat.

This restaurant is fairly new so my husband and I decided to give it a go last weekend. Food was great, service was excellent and there was a really good buzz about the place. The menu is not huge but certainly adequate. Recommend booking, especially at the weekend, quite a few were turned away at the door the night we were there. Will definitely be back.

Visited with French friends for an early Sunday lunch. Excellent value for money, starters very good, Calzone could have benefitted from a little while longer in oven, but still good. Outstanding home made sorbets
