We stayed overnight in the B+B (April 2013), en route from Italy to our next destination in France and had booked dinner at the restaurant because it was convenient, without any real expectations -other than that we have generally eaten well in small French villages. The meal was outstanding. Quality seasonal produce executed with flair and exquisitely presented. Well priced wines. With the amuse bouche and petit fours with coffee, Le Clocher des Pères stole our hearts with its quality and generosity. Replete, wander up the stairs to the B+B: modern, comfortable, reasonably priced rooms with stunning views.

L'Alambix is a small and great restaurant for a cheesy experience. The waitress is very friendly, the "reblochonnade" and pinetree box are also delicious. Don't forget to ask a Genepy shot at the end. A small improvement point I will underline is the absence of vegetables as a side dish. We ordered 3 extra portions of letuce : For 3.5⬠each, you get 2 leaves of lettuce and a smal tomatoe.

welcome to la bergerie du soleil, come and taste the traditionnal dishes of our regions, but also great burgers and a large choice of vegeterian courses. Enjoy our mignificent view on the mountains while eating and/or drinking our great products.
Chaotic service with waitresses not knowing what they have to do... dirty tables everywhere, loud music (too loud!) and cold inside the restaurant during the whole meal.Food offer nothing special and not cheap neither. I would not go back as had the impression to have wasted money and holiday time.Mauve if they better organise themselves in the future.

ideally located at the foot of the slopes and on the road to the Col de la Madeleine our restaurant offers a traditional cooking with fresh products. specialities with cheese but also meat as beef, duck,.. salads, pizzas, bruschettas...
Very friendly owner. We came in from a snow blizzard and they made us and our kids feel right at home. Menu was more like gourmet pub food, with excellent burgers and good pizzas. Watch out for the specials in wines; they can be pricy, and the house wine is just as good. Very busy and with the number of families with small children visiting this restaurant, not very suitable for conversation.

Family kitchen, local specialities, rustic and cosy chalet style with terrace. Lots of Belgium beers. Booking is recommended.
There are 3 restaurants at that level of Saint François Longchamp and le Plancher des Vaches is certainly the best out of the 3. Nice family run creperie that also serve traditional savoyard food. It's recommended to book in advance as it's very often full.

We spent a very long lunchtime here on a sunny day. Alas our toddler broke a full glass of beer but this was cheerfully dealt with and the beer replaced at no charge. A very reasonably-priced lunch was enjoyed by all five of us. It's convenient for the lift and the bus, if we go back to St Francois we'll definitely visit again although it has to be said that this place was the exception rather than the rule here - on the whole we found the staff in the resort pretty rude and unfriendly, but this place was absolutely wonderful - they should be appointed to teach others the meaning of customer service!Thank you very much for your commentary. We are happy you spend a good moment in our restaurant. We try to do our job the best than we can. We are happy to speak with the tourists about the station and children are welcome. With pleasure.
