CRÃPERIEWhether local, organic, in reasoned agriculture, all products of our map are chosen for their quality and foremost a function of the distance they must travel to reach us.
We stopped here for a coffee 20 years on having holidayed regularly with our children near to this perfect beach. No café then but now a friendly place serving coffees drinks and amazing galettes. All facilities nearby and well worth a stop to admire the views.

Etablissement spatieux avec une cuisine maison, des produits frais et locaux pour ravir des plus petits aux plus grands!
In search of a simple lunch in Sables d'Or, L'eclipse K'fe proved the prefect choice. The choice of burgers is impressive and it tooks us a while to decide. For those who wish to sample more traditional French food, there are several other options at reasonable price. We both decided on "Le Montagnard" with a request: "bien cuit" (well done) and this is exactly how the burger was served in a crispy and warm bun, with melted Savoie cheese and bacon. A choice of sauces was offered. I liked the US sauce. The chips were delicious, crisp and stayed warm in their presentation basket. Truly the generous helping of meat, chips and salad meant that we were not truly hungry for dessert but it is difficult to resist a "Cafe Gourmand" with the possibility of sampling 3 desserts with an expresso. The Eclipse K'fe "Cafe gourmand" is based mainly on Breton desserts and I was presented with a large portion of Kouig Amman, locally made caramel ice-cream, for the Breton touch, and chocolate brownie/creme anglaise. The modern decor includes a large sheltered, sunny & comfortable terrace with lounging and dining areas which makes it suitable for drinks, lunches and diners. The service was discreet yet attentive without being "pushy" to sell aperitifs or extra drinks. We shall make a point of returning when we are in Sables d'or.

You won't certainly feel hungry after having a meal at this restaurant, as the portions are quite big. We had the andouillette, which was perfect comfort food after a cold, windy day and was served with a very pleasant twist, thus testifying to the talent of the cook. Compliments to the chef!

Les hamacs is a really original place to relax, eat or just have a drink! It's big indoors and outdoors and is great for children too! The owners are fantastic and you really feel welcome here!

A traditional Brittany restaurant with a very good range of menu options. Our party tried several dishes on the couple of occasions visited - all excellent. No hesitation in recommending this place.

We are eight backpacking the Emerald Coast of Brittany from Erquy in the west to Cancale in the east. It will take 7 days. So not to carry food weight, we have targeted a number of eateries along the coast. One is Le Petit Saint-Michel for a late lunch after some 12 km of trekking.Brittany is known for its buckwheat pancakes, or "galettes de sarrasin". Don't confuse the thicker, hardier galettes with crepes - not the same. Eight adults with different ages and appetites result in varying dishes. I can say that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the tasty and hardy fare here. Dining outside in the sun, and with a sea view just made it all the more pleasurable. If you find yourself along the Emerald Coast, and you want really good, fresh, tasty food, I recommend Le Petit Saint-Michel to you.

Delicious Breton dishes feature fresh fish which I recommend you have with local cider! The now traditional moules frites has a mountain of mussels (mariniere) which are really good. They have daily specials & a fish & chips a l'anglais if you are less adventurous - which was also excellent. It's a popular place so perhaps best to book.

We stayed at the Hotel de Diane and ate here on four evenings. Each evening we selected the â¬22 Sables d'Or menu for ourselves and the â¬15 menu for the children. The food was beautifully prepared, well presented and tasty. We ate in several other restaurants in town and this was #1. We would recommend.

We were pleased to find this well reviewed place only a short distance from our campsite at Les Pins and went on the last night of our holiday as a treat. The food is not cheap but is very good value and beautifully cooked and presented by the husband and wife team. We liked the informal ambience which you don't usually get in a place with food this good. Highly recommended.
