The food was correct. I ordered the trout that was said to be local on the menu. We got salmon trout that can not be local as it is not found in the region. The decor is not very nice much better places in the area.bonjour merci pour votre commentaire , je tenez juste a vous précisez que vous pouvez très bien trouvez de la truite saumonée en Ardèche . il aurait était préférable de mieux vous renseigner avant de mètre votre avis sur le site .

We arrived for a late lunch just as the kitchen was closing. We asked if they were still serving and after checking with the kitchen we were seated and had two superb salads, well presented and piled high. The service was attentive and friendly. Overall it was a very good lunch and our thanks to the kitchen for staying open a little longer.

Here in the south of Ardèche where the sun makes sure you feel happy, there youâll find the Hotel Savel. Inbedded in a stunning area, where we put you and your well being first. Hotel Savel lays in the heart of the southern part of Ardèche and has been th
We ate here twice on holiday in the space of a week. The freshly prepared food is delicious and satisfying if a little limited in choice. What makes a difference is being able to eat in the lovely grounds of the hotel. A little further out from the main centre of Ruoms, but easy enough to walk to.

Our night at the L'Atelier was just perfect! As a start we ordered few home brewed beers which were excellent (ambree). The waitress was friendly and professional, spoke good English and helped us with the dishes and the wine selection. We ordered starters, mains (meat and veg) and dessert+coffee which were all fresh, exciting and tasty. The ambiance was relaxed, the interior is fun modern industrial, there is enough space between the tables (which is difficult to find in France). Perfect place for a relaxed meal for reasonable prices with friends and family!

Best place in town. Perfect cocktails (caipirinha, sex on the beach). During afterwork a free delicious tapa dish was presented with the cocktails. Main dish âfilet de boeufâ, an enormous piece of meat to share. Perfectly backed on the grill. Fresh fries, vegetables. A nespresso coffee to complete this perfect meal.

A lovely, super friendly restaurant in the old town quarter of Ruoms. Plenty of outdoor seating at the back of the restaurant for warmer weather, but also indoor seating available. The food is of exceptional quality for the price: they allow you to choose 3 courses (if you want them) for a price of 27 Euros. All the food is cooked from fresh, so may take a little while. They do a very tasty and enjoyable tarte tatin with smoked duck breast slices, as well as a delicious ravioli dish made with smoked salmon and saffron.Had we found this place earlier, we would certainly have made a repeat visit. A very popular restaurant with the French, which in itself is a good recommendation.

The restaurant is open all the year. You can meet us every end of the week form Thursday to Sunday, the service start at 12h00 to 13h30 and 19h00 to 21h00.
Chose this at random from several in Roumes. Terrace is alongside the building but shaded and sheltered. We ate on a Thursday evening and whilst busy, we were seated immediately and the service was fast and friendly although we never felt rushed. My steak was well cooked with great dauphinois potato and my wife fell in love with a local dish called crique. A potato and onion mix with local sausage. Highly recommended.

The restaurant in the Rose Garden of Pommiers is 200 from the center of Ruoms in a quiet farming area, on a terrace on stilts to 1.8 m above the ground, 180 m2 open, with views over the village of Ruoms, the rock Sampzon and rose garden of one hectare wit
Monday or Tuesday 19th of September, 8 PM. Their website, tripadvisor and the sign at their metal gate said they were open. We saw no lights, no other signs, ... Disappointment.

We had lunch here and it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant is cosy and quaint, but rather small which also results in a small table. We were brought the menu by the two very friendly staff members and looked at their various menu combinations and decided for a starter, main and cheese.I had a very inventive course with celeriac veloute and poached egg as a starter while my wife took the escargot croustillant. Both very nice, but the escargot portion size was very small. I took the ris de veau as main, which had an additonal amount to the menu price, which was superb quality but again, a small portion. The lamb was excellent as well, but quite seignant. Then a small platter of cheeses to choose from, also resulting in tiny pieces of the four cheeses we both chose. This meal was combined with a delicious bottle of the Grand Ardeche of Louis Latour, with a good size bottle this time.Nice place, friendly staff, good quality food but portion sizes quite small to our liking.
