What a lovely, interesting, surprising meal...fantastic ingredients, expertly cooked.... well deserved first spot...highly recommend a visit..Had the six courses, with matched wine....well worth it..not to much food, not to little...my only suggestion is to keep the wine coming...making people wait with empty glasses...Thank you Carmen for your feedback, highly appreciated ! We're pleased to read that you enjoyed your experience at La Mutinerie. Concerning wine pairing, we understand your point of view, it's always a big deal to decide rather to fill your glass up with the wine that follows and matches the next meal when it is not ready to be served, because we're afraid you won't have any wine left to pair it with the meal... But we'll work on that for sure !Hope to welcome you again soon, Best regards,

David & Anne-Laure GUILLERMIN are the owners. They serve fine French specialties. We are ready to welcome you.

Le Comptoir des cousins is serving you fresh and local market cuisine every day for lunch. In the evening, you will discover authentic food from other lands, to share with your friends and loved ones.
Maybe I was expecting too much after reading the excellent reviews, but I was disappointed with the food throughout our evening. We went for an early dinner. Reception and service were both unbeatable. Warm, welcoming and efficient, throughout the evening. Very nice vibe, comfortable seats, and good acoustics, making conversation easy. Management was attentive all evening, always enquiring if everything was good. Well, it was good, and definitely not bad enough to complain. Given the warmth of our welcome, it felt somehow churlish to complain about the finer points of the dishes. The trout ceviche was clumsily cut, with very unevenly sized pieces. I had expressed reservations about using trout for ceviche when ordering, but was convinced otherwise. Mistake. The sauce was too heavy with citrus, as well as being overly watery. The fish tartare consisted of chopped-up pieces that were a tad big, with a fairly bland taste, while the octopus was okay, but only okay. Spices did not zing. The corn cakes we expected when ordering humitas turned out to be a rather pedestrian corn mash. And the dessert of deconstructed lemon meringue tart was overly sweet. We have had far better offerings from restaurants elsewhere, that serve a similarly constructed tapas menu. I wish I could give the restaurant a higher rating, but the food just isn't good enough. In summary, management and service is of the highest order, but the food, although not bad, does not deliver what the description promises. In spite of this, we had an enjoyable evening, and would recommend the restaurant, as long as your expectations of the food are not unrealistically high.

We had lunch at this neighborhood restaurant only 10 minutes ride from Lyonâs center. We opted for the menu du jour, although the rest of the catalogue seemed mouthwatering: for starters we had the potato salad with Lyonnais sausage, cornichons and crispy greens, roasted pork with butternut puree as the main course and for dessert one had chocolate fondant and the other red grapefruit tart. Everything was super delicious and cooked with great âmamaâsâ care. Along with a pot of red wine and two coffees the bill came to 44 euros!

A little restaurant for the lunch, with local food and wine. Burgers, salads, home made sweets, home made food for a good moment in a cosy place.
Brilliant place - full at lunchtime so we sat outside (not ideal but better than not being there). LOVELY staff, great food - local, fresh and delicious.Totally recommended.

Outside sitting for lunch is amazing, trees every where and the cool breeze makes the eating experience even better. My veggie dish (sorry I don't remember the name) was yummy and quantity was huge. Must go place for luch and I am sure dinner time would also be very happening.

This rather typical Lyon bistro is a bit off the beaten track for international travellers, but well worth the trip to experience another world of village life and Lyonais bouchon cuisine from about the 1970s. There is a friendly familial atmosphere and most of the clients are local, with a majority being men during the day. There is lots of space outside with a playground with swings, sandpit and even a rabbit for children! Adjacent to the terrace is a space providing the opportunity to play boules under the plane trees when the sun is shining. Inside nostalgia rules â the décor resembles a garage for motorbikes and vintage cars from the last century with formica tables and old advertising billboards (hoardings) behind the bar. The menu is outlined on a blackboard, with a range of choice from day to day, with an emphasis on meat dishes - tripe (andouillette), a side of beef, rib eye steaks, Lyon sausage cooked in cream, steak tartare Charolais, accompanied by crispy fried potatoes and salad. Some delicious salads and desserts also â duck gizzard salads and cherries on crème brulée â a house speciality. There is a carefully selected wine carte! We look forward to a return visit in warmer weather.

Driving from Geneva to Provence we decided to treat ourselves to our one and only 3 Michelin star restaurant. We were not disappointed. The restaurant shines out brightly from itsroundabout setting decorated with murals of the great man and neon signs. Perhaps a bit kitsch but fun and heightens the anticipation of somewhere special. The service was outstanding from the bellboy to greet us and the knowledgeable and attentive waiters. As you would expect. The food is traditional French with a twist. We had a two course menu at â¬125 of different sorts of foie gras followed by a sea-bass en croute. But thatâs not all. With champagne you get two amuse bouche. Followed by a vichyssoise with truffle. After the two courses there is a magnificent cheese board then a selection of desserts. We both had tarts - raspberry and fig - both sitting on a delicious crumbly pastry. Finally fresh mint tea from the garden was served with three delicious petits fours. Impeccable. The only strange thing was we ordered a taxi from the waiter who then disappeared. But the bellboy to the rescue as he had a cab outside! A real treat. Dear sir, we're very proud to feel your comments and satisfaction. Thank you very much. Best regards

I had the most lovely lunch here. There was not a lot of English to go around. However, the server was extremely nice and the food was wonderfully authentic and delicious. Every bite was a pleasure. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied. Very good value. What a great and random find. I was in town for a conference at Cité International. So glad I walked across the bridge to have lunch at L'Air du Temps.Thank you very much ! M'y Chef and i were delighted To welcome you !
