We found this restaurant having visited Larmor Plage beach in Brittany. Very friendly staff, carefully decorated room and a pleasant terrace. My son had pizza reine which was generously topped with proper jambon sec and had a lovely crunchy edged base.My husband and I had the special of the day, white fish, (merlu), steamed to perfection and served with a delicate turmeric flavoured sauce, pilaff rice and a courgette and mushroom combo. Delicious. I had café gourmand to follow with three little taster portions of puds plus a small black coffee. Hubby just had coffee and my son ordered a dame blanche ice cream dessert which was too big for him to finish so we had to help him out, sadly... A glass of smooth red wine, a kir breton and a cola completed the meal and the bill was a very reasonable 58â¬

This was our first visit to this restaurant as our normal restaurant was shut. I will definately return. We got a nice welcome despite being a group of 6. Menu is varied and will suit lots of tastes. We had crepes and pasta between us and everyone was happy and the prices were very good compared to other restaurants we regularly eat in.Bonjour,Merci beaucoup pour votre visite dans notre établissement. Vos commentaires nous ont fait plaisir. A bientôt

Recommended by our hosts, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Both of us opted for the LâAmiril (1/2 a crab and Langoustines). Our servers were very helpful and kindly educated us in the best technique of extracting the crab flesh using mallet, knife and pick.Wonderfully fresh, helpful attentive service, and good value for money, we would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. Oh, and make sure you reserve a table in advance at the weekend.

A party of eight, we entered what seemed like a straightforward, mid-sized restaurant with friendly staff and an unassuming style. But when the food and wine arrived we realised L'Ardoizen is just exceptional. We could not have enjoyed the evening any more than we did.Very warmly recommended. Thanks a lot for your recommendation and your confidence ! We hope to see you again soon to share more culinary moments at LâArdoizen !

Restaurant Cuisine Traditionnelle, Ouvert Samedi Midi, Soir Et Dimanche Midi Notre Restaurant Est Ouvert Pour Tout Les Groupes Semaine.
We ate at the restaurant at the harbor and based on our two courses it was very good. Their kitchen is small and the menu is limited because this is a summer time setup. Our mussels and large prawns were very good and our service was quick and efficient considering how busy they were.

Our group of 11 arrived earlyish--7 pm--and the owner welcomed us with a kir breton, part of the evening formule. This was followed by grilled chevre on toast with salad; the main course was chunks of tender beef in a sauce including cepes, plus new potatoes and sliced fresh vegetables--delicious! Service was prompt and efficient, which was very helpful as most of us had to leave no later than 820 to attend a concert. Wine is included in the 15 Euro price, and the owner produced two bottles of a good Cahors. Everyone enjoyed their meal, including dessert and coffee. Normally we wouldn't have rushed the meal, but having to meet a deadline, we appreciated the staff's ability to serve us quickly.

Menu excellent for all tastes and even all common allergies as wheat is not in all dishes. It is not 'posh' and all the better for it. Service in early June was French-fashion and we in three-ageing-generation group enjoyed that but if you have tinies and a UK/US brain, expect them to love the food but get there before they need it. Service rating is a bit unfair as it was welcomingly normal for the area and was very friendly: who wants McDonalds speed in Morbihan???

We were just off-season and were seated rapidly at table within feet of incoming tide so enjoyed that enormously. Food had its moments of real excellence and then did nosedive to bad-day-in-kitchen/market lacking in top level flavour. Would be good to go back when fish are there for the catching. Pure veggies could pick their way round the menu but this is a restaurant that uses veg for flavour and garnish and, frankly, is none the worse for that: it knows what it is. Wine prices were fair, choice needed more thought if looking to rival local Michelin starred place.
Lille, Food Guide: 10 French food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Lesquin

This was the first time we had dined at a Michelin starred restaurant and it was fabulous.... We chose the 63 euro menu, a kind of surf & turf experience and all the course were fresh, tasty, balanced (nothing over powering) and simply delicious. The wine list is extensive and prices not mind blowing... The service was floorless, which is amazing as we don't speak much french and the waiting staff don't speak much english, being spoken to in french added to the whole experience. The service is traditional, i.e the menu given to the female diner has not pricing on it.. a completely different experience. The room is quite bland, but the food & wine is so interesting we didn't really notice.
