Just across the street from our hotel. We stopped in for something sweet after returning from visiting Le Mont St Michel earlier in the day. We sat in the back patio. It was about 2:30 pm and it was very quiet. We both ordered the Crepe Normande. Delicious. By the time we left the were closing until dinner time. The menu was not as large as Le Grillon for either galettes or crepes.

Staff nit particularly friendly. Food not great and pairing of food not good either. The actual cooking isnât great either. Expensive produce not delivered as good as it should be. 14, quatorze euros, vous avez réglé une addition de 14.00⬠pour deux dans notre restaurant, déjà là ," NO COMMENT", mais en plus votre torchon de remarques à 2 balles (à votre image) .

Pontorson appears to be one of those sleepy towns that roll up the streets at 6PM. We were not too hopeful on finding a decent meal, but Tripadvisor showed this place, and the good ratings were well earned. It's small, two halves separated by the bar. It would seem one half is a bit more casual. There is a small outside terrace - not really that attractive to be honest, but I'm sure welcome in nice weather. The menu is interesting, and on the short side as is often the case. I can't remember the wine, so I must have had beer. Our host was very gracious and the meal was well-prepared and enjoyable. We were entertained by the table of Americans behind us. Should anyone need to know their life stories, I've taken notes. Why are they SO loud?

This place had amazing reviews so we were excited to check it out. Unfortunately we were disappointed as the bruschetta and pizza were somewhat tasteless and far below average. The pasta was better but still nothing to write home about...

B&B host recommended Eugenia, as one of her favorites. Nice choice.Waitress spoke English and helped my partner and I choose a vegetarian meal. We decided on the crepe with vegetables on top, served with roasted tomato, and loved the meal.Crepe was crispy and fresh and the vegetables were so fresh they tasted as though picked from the garden that day.Service was friendly and the atmosphere very low key, enjoyable meal.

Went here based on trip advisor reviews, and were not disappointed. On arriving in Pontorson we stopped here for a light lunch before checking into our gite. We each ordered a savory crepe. Both our choices were so delicious. They didn't look like they would fill us up for lunch, but they certainly did. The owner(s) didn't speak much English, but she was so kind and friendly as we tried out our French. We really wanted to work our way through the whole menu, but decided to go back another day for a sweet crepe (after having had a main meal in another local restaurant). The sweet crepe was just as delicious, and the owner(s) was more than happy for us just to order 1 sweet crepe each, no drinks. Can't wait to come back here when next in Pontorson.

My wife and I have frequented this bijou restaurant for many years now and in February 2019the ownership changed again which made me realise that although a restaurant may have hundreds of reviews all full of praise and it is high in the rankings that of itself is not a true indication of quality/value at any given time as changes of ownership or even just a chef can make all the difference so it is important that guests keep writing reviews so that readers will have an awareness of the situation now not 5 years ago.I am very pleased to say that in the case of Le Grillion new owners have maintained the high standards of food quality, the warmness of welcome and the consistency of value based on our recent visit. We will definitely be there again next month when we return to France.A note of caution: when there has been a public holiday the restaurant seems not to open the following day.I'd still recommend.

We recommend the menu. Good price/qualify! Oysters are delicious and good main dishes. I however didnât like the dame blanche at all, we have better ice cream in Belgium. A bottle of Sancerre accompanied the food just fine. Thank you for the hospitality

Do get a reservation as this is a small and popular restaurant. Mussels were on the menu with 7 different sauces. I had curry and my husband had Camembert. Both were very good. Wine is reasonably priced. Service was very good also. This is a donât miss place.

On our road-trip in France the coach stopped near to the location âLe Mont-Saint-Michelâ to have lunch with our group of 37 persons. The restaurant was âLe Ferme Saint Michelâ, who is close to the terminal of the âShuttle Coachesâ to the âMont-Saint-Michelâ,The restaurant was a good choice also in that option, the staff was very friendly, a very nice location, and a good service, and also the food was more than ok. Even the location was completely filled up with clients, there was no hurry in the table service and not allot of waiting to get served. We did not took pictures from the inside because of the amount of people inside, but an interesting point are the old chariots on the outside. To resume this location, good place, good food, good service and close to the shuttle serve to the Mont-Saint-Michel, and enough parking for coach and cars.Thank you for your detailed opinion on your dining experience. Groups as individual customers, the on-site team works every day for a service to match. Come back when you want.
