I don't think the other diners ate at the same restaurant as us. The owners of Blonde et Brune are both warm, friendly and they provide excellent service. Great value for money, fresh produce and freshly made. The food varies with the seasons and provides a twist Francaise to tapas, j' adore. Sometimes the melange misses, but on the whole we find the appetisers, main courses, tapas and desserts to be worthy of compliment. In fact we live local to the restaurant and are now regulars.

Très bon accueil, cuisine faite maison, de qualité, tout était très bon et copieux, je souligne la petite attention particulière pour le papy et sa petite fille qui fêtaient leur anniversaire, restaurant on l on reviendra avec plaisir, et le service parfait.

We ate here one evening, it's just 1 junction or 10 mins on the N road from our hotel. (A13/J9)Nice friendly steakhouse, a little english was spoken but they had a multilingual menu which they gave us as soon as they recognised our awful french accent!We all had steak, my jacket potato was real not microwaved and desert was lovely too! They were surprised to receive the tip, which was only 10% but they didn't expect that much!

The service was efficient- not friendly but fine. Itâs the food I want to complain about.French onion soup was flavorless except for the heavy cheese. Worse was the beef burgundy. If there was any wine in that sauce I could not taste it. Bland mashed potatoes with virtually every dish on the menu. The creme brûlée was fine at least. I hope you will avoid this restaurant so that the next time I stay in Paris there will be a new restaurant in that very convenient spot.

French cuisine and restaurants have the reputation of all to often being pretentious. Menus that are difficult to understand, laden with strange words. Dishes that mistake complexity for quality.This restaurant is the opposite. The menu is short, but everything on the table is really fresh and tasty. The bread, for example, is first class, and that is a tell-tale of a good -or a bad- restaurant. Portions are more than adequate. Service does it has to do: serve and not get in the way. The setting is, again, the opposite from pretentious, no star designer here.The result: a bill that is quite reasonable, and a smile across our faces. Highly recommended!

Pretty restaurant with log fire burning. Lots of bucherons having their Christmas meal together. Traditional bar used by locals - lots of character. Good friendly service and good value.

The presentation of each dish was exquisite. We had the tartare d'avocat au saumon fumee, and then the tournedos de boeuf. The vacherin with mango icecream was superb. Energetic and friendly host, pretty restaurant and wonderful setting, with the swans adding to the romance of it all.

Had dinner and dessert here and sampled both savory and sweet crepes. The fillings were delicious and the crepes thin and crispy. The service is good and prices affordable.

We were there for a wedding a few weeks ago. The location is nice, and surroundings pleasant. But service was really poor, the owners had a serious attitude and really did not make the guests welcome. The toilets are narrow and were (very, very, ) dirty throughout the night.
