The dinner quality was good, but the service was awful. The waiters forgot about us in several ocassions and we decided not to have dessert, after waiting (again) for 15 minutes for the cart.

The restaurant Pizzeria Abbartello located on one of the beaches of Olmeto at the place called Abbartello, has a direct view on the gulf of Valinco.
We were staying in Propriano which our guide book suggested had its share of duff eating places. They suggested this place if you wanted some decent cooking. We were not disappointed with their suggestion.Arrived around 9pm on a Friday night. A few tables were still available. My wife had the last dorada and I had the veal. Both well cooked, well presented and good flavour. The staff clearly had a passion for both the quality of their food and the service that they provided.

Our tour guide had recommended this restaurant and we stopped by for lunch after a morning visit to near-bye Filitosa. The guide had recommended the pate avec gambas, so I tried that and my wife selected the gambas brochettes. Both were excellent, well cooked and presented. Followed up with dessert and coffe - an excellent lunch.

Definitely one of the best lunches we've had; not only on Corsica but anywhere. Yes eating out on Corsica is not inexpensive - you just accept this norm - but here the Domaine Abbatucchi ensures that it is hugely worthwhile. A very attractive short list of choices - all authentic local cuisine, and the main dishes are all based on cuts or other elements of their own reared tiger cattle. Those courgette beignets are sublime; no idea how they make them so good. Some of the veal or steak dishes are cooked on the wood oven in front of you; the veal civet was delicious too. Moreover, the wines are only those from the estate and all available by the glass, and have a point of sale for their bottles to take away; which you cannot buy elsewhere. Unreservedly recommended

What a lovely restaurant, so friendly and welcoming and it's open late. The food is wonderful and portions huge. Unless you're a serious trencherman (or -woman) I'd advise sharing starters (they're quite happy with that) - think whole melon or big platters of thickly-carved ham and charcuterie. Main courses tend to be large chunks of meat cooked on a charcoal fire with your choice of accompaniments. (OK, if you're a vegetarian it may not be the place for you but the salads are excellent.) The 3 course set menu (changes daily) is very good value. The wine list is entirely Corsican, or there's Pietra chestnut beer as an alternative, and they're very generous with the digestifs. I can't recommend it too highly.

This restaurant deserves the good reviews it receives. It is brilliantly placed, staff excellent and friendly Chose the discovery menu at 65 euros Each small dish was beautifully presented and tasted sensational My husband didn't want this menu but as everyone on the table had to have it, otherwise it wasn't posisble. He relucantly agreed and even he cme away saying "that meal just blew you away - each course gave you a different taste experience; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

auberge sur la route d'Olmeto dans un cadre atypique campagne chic sur un parc arboré.Parking privé.
The setting is interesting, a purpose built dining hall in a garden setting with a separate bar and outside seating. We tried to book using there internet page, but this does not appear to be working. Ended up making a booking by phone. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by all of the staff and shown to a nice table within the timber building. The food is typically Corsican, well cooked and well presented. The car park is uneven but once on the building level, all of the paths and access points are wheelchair accessible. There appears to be one toilet, but that was new and wheelchair accessible. Overall an excellent experience.

Arriving arrive at just before 22:30, we were pleased to hear they were still open for dinner. We decided on the salads and were really pleased. Delicious tasty tomatoes with the freshest buffalo mozzarella (almost a burrata) and pesto dressing was my Italian salad. Hubby had a Chèvre chaud salad which was also excellent with goats cheese on toasted bread and selection of prosciutto and lardons combined with salad leaves.Service was excellent and very happy with our choice.
