We regularly holiday in Hardelot and enjoy the many restaurants it has to offer. We have always walked past this restaurant as we were lead to believe it was more for party goers. We were wrong, the staff were incredibly friendly, spoke great French and interacted with my children. The food was great quality and well priced. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to others.

Have eaten here recently on three different occasions in the evening, both during the week and a bank holiday weekend. Always a warm welcome and great service despite different some staff being on duty. Wide menu choice, well cooked and good value for money. Their pizzas deserve a special mention, though we also between us enjoyed lots of other things equally well.

La nouvelle rôtisserie à fréquenter à Hardelot-Plage ! Profitez d'un cadre agréable pour un repas en famille avec notre coin dédié aux enfants, ou d'un apéro entre amis dans nos canapés.
This newly-opened grill restaurant (May 2017) is owned and run by a young couple who have a welcoming team. The open-plan premises have been newly built within a parade of shops near the seafront and we liked the atmosphere. The canopy signage still needs to be finished outside, but the Josper oven and the team using it and serving a limited menu know what they are doing. There is a good selection of wines ( including Côte Rôtie of course). We found the food good ( brochette de bÅuf et filet de loup de mer) but we could have done with more vegetables. The fries were excellent. This is not a gastronomic venue, but a place you can enjoy charcoal-grilled food with good wines at a reasonable cost. Provided they can maintain the quality of the food and gradually introduce new menu items or plats du jour.We were disappointed with the profiteroles- straight from the freezer 7 euros. We wish them well and look forward to eating here next time we come to Hardelot.

We spent the afternoon down in Hardelot Plage whilst staying in Hesdin Abbi and what a pleasant surprise to stumble across this little place for lunch, great staff and atmosphere and most importantly lovely food at a very reasonable price, I will definitely be popping back there in the future.

The Filedo section - just 14 covers - has a weekly changing menu. I check, & may go if all 3 courses appeal! Appetiser of fish pate with crunchy herbed bread wafer. Asparagus creme brulee - a bowl of sheer pleasure topped with crunchy toasted pistachio plus a savoury tuile. Even the herby crumb decorating the underplate was too good to waste. Then rabbit - loin fillet wrapped round the treat of a bunny kidney, tender, & enhanced by the soft pieces of prune, silky carrot puree, new potatoes & rich sauce. Extra thin puff pastry sandwiched real whipped cream over plenty of fresh apricot puree. Perfect hot coffee in a tall slim porcelain cup, 3 sweeties. What delight, & very reasonable price too.All so fresh, impeccably presented & served. Well deserves the gastronomy bit of the Bistronomie name.Luxury loos, shade parking if you are early,

We spend some time in this region on a regular basis and time after time we come back to l'Oree du bois because it serves a contemporary, local and very well prepared cuisine that stands out in this region today. The service is very friendly and efficient and the price is cheap if you keep in mind that all this food is freshly prepared and finished à la minute as it should be in a restaurant. Full menus are available at 30, 40 and 50 euros but you can also make your choice à la carte.

as a frequent visitor to Hardelot, i wanted to try this restaurant. i could not honestly recommend the tapas starter, it was a strange assortment. The main courses were excellent - the cabillaud was beautifully cooked and accompanied by wild rice and vegetables; the filet steak was delicious and the caesar salad was beautifully presented. The desserts were limited but the cheese platter was very good, which we shared between 4. i would highly recommend the chinon wine.

Visited midweek, lunchtime, in October. We were there at midday and got the last table. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was good and portions generous to say the least, with a little treat to start. Possibly would need a microscope to find any fault the day we visited.

This was our last night of holiday dinner, 7 of us across three generations. It was a lovely evening and everyone enjoyed their various dishes. The menu was interesting, including the wine and beer. The service was friendly too and reasonably priced. If you want a relaxed dinner, I'd recommend this place.
