Lovely secret location, in an old townhouse, on the banks of the Sorgue. Waterfront wine bar with flower-filled internal courtyard for summer dining or fireplace for the winter, with exposed stone décor and unique, intimate atmosphere. Cosy and luxury com
We have tried a few restaurants in the town and I think that this is probably the best. Lovely central location and cool interiors with river running under the floor in glass. We had the middle menus around 30 and had some lovely food and lovely amuse bouche. Thought the foie gras was a little too cold and was the weakest dish. I had pastry encrusted chicken which was really superb

Lunch was excellent, then we learned they were closed for 2 weeks for a well deserved vacation, so we booked for dinner the same day. No regrets!! So tasty, reasonably priced, and delivered with friendly service. If youâre n a hurry, donât bother. But being patient is well worth the wait. Totally enjoyed everything.

We stopped here for lunch on a Thursday. The service was really friendly (one of the French waiters speaks perfect English) and the food was top notch. You could tell everything was freshly made with quality ingredients and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Four of us off season in October. We stumbled upon Islo at about 6:30 pm and asked for a 7 pm reservation. Even off season we saw people turned away later. The waitress was very pleasant and enthusiastic and let me use my rusty French. All aspects of the meal were fabulous. The men did the menu and the women chose appetizers only. Some sharing after that... mostly at the tasty dessert.About 75 euros per couple with wine and tip.

Food was attractively presented but for me was style over substance. For instance I had the carpaccio of octopus which looked really nice but was a bit bland to eat.The restaurant has very nice views but I think parking a car nearby can be tricky if you're not there early.

We initially decided to try this restaurant as we were staying in the adjacent hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the service, atmosphere and quality of the food which resulted in a further two visits during our holiday in nearby Carpentras.Firstly I personally found the quality of the food to be very good indeed and in fact one of the best places I have eaten during many years of visiting the region. I personally chose the mixed grill brochettes of beef, duck and chicken which were so good that I repeated the same order on my next visit followed by the apple crumble desert. On my final visit I tried the duck orange which was very tender with very little fat and followed with the cafe gourmand which is a sample of all the deserts on the menu. The service and welcome we received from the owners was superb and this remained consistent throughout our visits to the restaurant. On one evening the region was hit with a really bad storm meaning eating outside was impossible which caused some seating issues inside the restaurant when we arrived. I was so impressed when all the staff rallied round to sort out internal seating arrangements for us and other guests whilst also tending to a very busy restaurant. This initially impacted on the service and our initial drink order was not taken for about 25 minutes but we were sympathetic to the situation caused by the weather. On our final visit we were remembered by the owners who thanked us for our patience during the storm on our previous visit (a nice personal touch). All in all a very pleasant experience with superb service and quality food at very reasonable prices and I will not hesitate in dining there again on our next visit to the region. Not an extensive menu but with sufficient choice to accommodate most people and I suppose the best compliment is evidence of regular returning local customers.

We tried this restaurant on 9 May. This date is not a public holiday. Once we seated the waiter informed us that today is like public holiday with only one set meal with absolutely no choice for each course. The price ? 25 ⬠. Bases on prévois reviens on TA we decided to try.The Menu consists of - one drink among 4 choices. - quiche paysanne - tasteless- lamb gigot - very much average- 3 small pieces of cheese- 1 glass of chocolate and whipping cream with fresh strawberries on top.- 1 cafeThe food is average. I would have been satisfied with 15 â¬. Not 25.Also considering that the place is far out of town.We won't recommend this place

We stumbled upon this place which is a delight. The icecream is not the cheapest but well worth it, the portions are large and the flavour selection is vast. A lovely place to find some respite from the very hot sun. Very friendly owners!! There are also Rooms to rent (Gites)Merci pour votre avisAu plaisir de vous revoir au glacier de VelleronStephanie et Nicolas

you can only dine here at Au Gusto if you give chef Emmanuel enough notice so that he can discuss your food choices and so that he can see what is fresh in the market! I have very specific dietary requirements which were more than matched at each of our delicious meals. Personal service from a marvellous chef in a magical setting

Each plate was a small work of art, and the portions were large. I was very glad that we only ordered the 5-course menu, rather than 8. As wonderful as each bite was, eight courses would have been much too much for us, and it would have been a shame to leave any of them uneaten. The prices, both food and wine, are very reasonable, for food and service of this quality. Service was impeccable and efficient. My only complaint is that the temperature in the room was uncomfortably warm. I know this was because we Americans love our air conditioning. The other diners all seemed comfortable, so I won't hold the restaurant accountable for that. I'm sure the temperature was fine, in accordance with local standards. Our waiter was working diligently, and seemed cool and dry the entire time. So, in spite of my own personal preference for a cooler room, I give them an excellent rating.
