Tout y est pour passer un bon moment. L'accueil est excellent, l'emplacement au coeur d'un petit village de la brie, nous avons déjeuné à l'extérieur dans le calme et sous les arbres et parasols.Nous avons pris le menu à 35 ⬠. Plats excellents, avec de la recherche et de la qualité des matières. Je recommande vivement cet endroit, et nous y reviendrons certainement.

This picturesque country inn is located on the banks of the Marne River. With its flower-bedecked outdoor dining area, It looks very inviting [see photograph].After a 15-kilometer walk acrosss the Briard Plateau from La-Ferté-sous-Jouarre, the two of us had lunch outdoors in the sunny weather. For starters, one of us had a warm Tarte de Brie de Meaux and the other a salad garnished with goat's milk cheese from the Ferme de la Vallière in nearby Tancrou. Both of us opted for the plat du jour, turkey escalope in a Meaux mustard sauce. We then had the cheese course: ripe and runny Brie de Meaux, and ended the meal with crème brulé. Our lunch was accompanied by a bottle of red Côte du Rhône 2010 that was as smooth as silk.The restaurant is a just short distance from the train station in the next-door village of Lizy-sur-Ourcq, so it could be the destination for either a short ramble from Lizy or a longer walk from La Ferté.Note: Although the postal address in this listing is correctly indicated as Meaux, the restaurant itself is located in the village of Mary-sur-Marne.

Restaurant à la décoration épurée et claire. Le serveur est agréable et à l'écoute.Côté cuisine le choix est bien, les plats sont bons mais gras et la cuisson du veau et du saumon trop cuit. Le fois gras maison est à tomber.Merci pour la découverte des pâtes briardes.Assez cher pour ce repas.

Driving back from Paris to Strasbourg, we made a tasteful stop at this restaurant. Although the mood is a bit cold and the waiters a bit to "serious", what's in the plate makes for it. Standard fine French food as one would expect at a standard price; a good choice for a stop over, especially for the quick service.

Quelle agréable surprise !!!! Nous connaissions l'existence de ce restaurant sans y être encore jamais allé... Pour la première fois nous y avons été invités hier. La surprise au opère dès que nous entrons dans le restaurant. L'endroit est très spacieux moderne et présente une vue magnifique. Nous avons pris l'apéritif sur la terrasse à l'étage avec vue sur la Marne, puis le repas en salle avec encore vue sur la Marne avec ses immenses baies vitrées. Nous avons très très bien mangé et le service était parfait. Très belle rencontre que ce restaurant et nous ne manquerons pas d'y retourner !! Merci pour cette agréable soirée !

J'ai dîné dans ce restaurant, lors de mon voyage à vélo de cette année. J'ai trouvé le lieu agréable, pour les entrées c'est un buffet à volonté, après pour le plat : Saucisses Rougail (très bon) et comme dessert : mousse au chocolat (parfait).

We were the only ones in the restaurant and I can now understand why it was so.My entree of scallops was bland and overcooked,and the green salad bed was copious but had a dressing too tart to enjoy.My main course of monkfish kept the tasteless tradition alive.The cheese course (2 types rather than the 3 advised) was ok, as was the waffle and red berry dessert.My wife said that her mixed entree plate was uninteresting but that her steak main course was very good.Service was no problem as we were the only ones there.This place is not inexpensive ... had gone for the â¬55 menu which was definitely not worth it.Wine list was ok with a good selection of 1/2 bottles.The cost of this lunch for 2, with wine, was â¬200 for which I would have expected a memorable lunch with great food and great wine, but this even more than Paris price did not deliver any value for money.My recommendation would be to eat elsewhere.

Crêperie surprenante avec une décoration originale qui rappelle plus le fleuriste d'avant que le restaurant d'aujourd'hui. Les crêpes sont bonnes. Le cidre brut était correct mais il y a mieux.L'accueil est très sympathique.

A little bit out of town but worth the search! The traditional french food was excellent, service friendly and the duck to die for. For the menu at midday it was great value and plenty to eat, and the evening menu if I remember wasn't too much either. A place I will surely go back to!
