Fantastic weekly lunch! Quality food for this 3 courses daily menu. Well served, well presented, quality bread. We have found what we wanted, even if used to starred restaurants across Europe. Nothing to do with Le Relais d'Ans in Tourtoirac...don't go There, cheater, very expensive and poor quality (not available on tripadvisor for comments, unfortunately)

We were camping near by and fancied a dinner out with the children. The pizzas at were huge and tasty, would certainly recommend them, although I would share next time! We ate outside, which was spoilt a little by people smoking near by and the road is close too.

Eaten at this Restaurant many times and watched the owner /Chef grow into a competent Chef. The Foie Gras prepared by Nathalie is excellent, the Garlic soup, one of the best and duck is always good of course and the Sirloin steak a firm favourite. Sauté potatoes in large supply are always tasty. Cheese board gives a good selection and the Desserts are tasty, some better than others! Carafe of wine always good value... they have a great outside Patio now which is quite enclosed and therefore keeps cosy on cooler nights. All good service and friendly atmosphere, parking at the back is usually available. Canbe fully booked at lunch time so need to book.

We stopped at this restaurant on our way to Hautefort and were nicely surprised. The food is authentic and served family style. We had homemade prosciutto ( jambon sec), grilled pig with chips, cheese, walnut cake and wine. It was absolutely delicious. We will be back! They also have a store to buy their own pâtés to bring back!

We chose Lemeloko because our son is a bit fussy with his food and the staff were very accommodating providing us with exactly what we ordered for him. The food we chose wasn't traditional French cuisine (burgers!), but enjoyable, tasty and a good size. Would certainly return if we were in the area.

Changement de gérant depuis avril 2018, ouvert à l'année,menu a partir de 14euros le midi en semaine, cuisine traditionnelle et authentique
We were out walking the Boucle de l'étang du Coucou from Hautefort and on the way out we noticed this pleasant looking restaurant just above the lake and decided to give it a go for lunch when we got back. It was a hot day and the restaurant is certainly in a very inviting setting. Lovely patio surround by flowers and different species of trees and shrubs, overlooking the lake and also looking up to the Chateau at Hautefort. We had a very good lunch, going for the menu which was 14 euro - an excellent deal. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I think the restaurant might be under new management as I notice it is called Restaurant du Coucou, or Le Coucou now, and the last review seems to be from 2016. Well worth taking the short walk from Hautefort for a tasty, relaxed lunch by the lake.

We enjoyed lunch here on a wet day at the end of our holiday. Family business with quick service and decent food. Most helpful staff with good English. Bistro rather than restaurant; a long way behind those down the street in place Eugène le Roy. Loved the patron's stunning photos taken on route 66

Ate here after taking a stroll around Chateau Hautfort which is just up the hill. Very warm welcome (despite our limited / rubbish grasp of the French language. Lunch offer at â¬16.50 was great value. We sat outside on the verandah and watched the world go by......

Perfect location beneath the splendid Chateau within a delightful medieval (?) square this tastefully finished restaurant with interesting decor and artwork for sale provided a splendid lunch that was served by an utterly hard working, pleasant maitre d'. Starter of fish tartare was served with a simple salad and the dressing was stunning. (Local walnut oil perhaps?). We both enjoyed the pavé of veal served with a delicious sage sauce and potato rosti that was delicious despite appearing over cooked. Both courses went very well with the Bergerac rosé. Walnut cake dessert and exquisite coffee finished it off well. Too good to miss, service, ambience and food of the highest standards.

Couldnât have been more enjoyable. Unusually for me, I particularly liked the service. What charming people. Gracious, professional and welcoming. Water topped up when needed, more bread arrived just at the right time and overall attention was spot on. Yes, liked the food too. We sat on the terrace and soaked in the local atmosphere. After lunch we ambled around the chateau. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
