After a long walk today we headed to the restaurant expecting hearty rural food as per reviews on trip advisor. The setting was magnificent, as was listening to the constant ringing of cow bells throughout our meal. I had the mushroom tart which was small and had little flavour. It was accompanied by a salad of lettuce leaves and sundried tomatoes, certainly not a hearty meal. My husband had duck breast with mashed potato and a few mangetout.He said the flavour was good.I had the chocolate pudding which was not good and my husband's coffee was disappointing. The setting made it a great experience, but the food was not what other reviews led us to expect.

It's difficult not to have a chilled, relaxed atmosphere when you're on the beach, but these guys did that and produced decent, if unexciting food at a reasonable price. There were small children running around and the staff were very accommodating with that.Food good, staff friendly, atmosphere chilled. Worth a visit

We have been here before and on visiting the area again had to return. This is true mountain fair at its best. They do raclette and brasero, but my favourite is definitely the tartiflette! And the views are stunning! Would definitely recommend ...

We have been there with friends who went there before and we were very surprised by this restaurant. Good food and good service. Best quality for vegetables. very "pittoresque" place that you will enjoy...book your table in advance.N existez pas vous rendre la bas, accueil sympa et ambiance champêtre. réserver votre table. je conseil le garage chocolat avec betteraves rouges....melange subtile...cout raisonnable pour l addition.

Bistrot du Coin in the charming village of Doussard just by the bottom end of Lake Annecy provides exactly what visitors to France look for - well-sourced, quality French produce, perfectly cooked and presented by the knowledgeable and enthusiastic chef patron, served by a friendly and helpful waitress at reasonable prices. Nice restaurant with view on lake annecy. Spacious terrace, with lots of room for children.Apparently only visitors from France and us (NL), which for me is always a good sign. The service was good. The food also, had a good tartiflette. Steaks were cooked well. Will definitely return to enjoy their cheese fondue, which looked great to me.

We dropped into the scenic restaurant on our self drive holiday . We are from Australia and speak very poor French ( which we always apologise for) , we had planned on having a meal at this restaurant until we over heard one of the male managers scolding the young waitress who had helped us in French/English ( so we could begin our order) he was reprimanding her for speaking English and we realised not only had we got her into trouble but this restaurant obviously didnât welcome tourists . If you donât speak fluent French I wouldnât recommend this restaurant , we found another with just as spectacular views who helped us with our broken French and were just lovely .

Went to see the paragliders taking off over Lake Annecy, and then it was lunchtime.indoor or outdoor terrace, bar and soft drinks, parking ( not always easy to find if you are near a sporting venue ), and views of parapentistes who have just taken off 50m higher. The menu was Savoyarde, Formule or A la Carte. Food cooked to perfection, and portions were generous. Service was very efficient.Also the farm's own cheeses are for sale, plus visits to the cowshed if you were so inclined.

The menu is pretty standard - steaks, burgers, but with one or two nice little twists.For instance my burger came with two rosti cakes instead of bun and the cheese was a local Reblochon - quite delicious. The meat is sourced locally, too. We were in a hurry so perhaps did not do the place justice. They have a vast selection of rums from all over the Caribbean. Iâd be happy to eat there again. Good honest food, served quickly and with friendly staff.
