This is not fine dining but typical of the cheap and cheerful roadside bistros that offer a menu ouvrier at a very good price for a buffet starter, choice of main, desert and cheap wine by the pichet. Itâs near the river if you fancy a stroll, thereâs a big car park opposite and in otherwise sleepy Guitres its a good option if youâre on the move but get there early if youâre expecting much from he buffet.

Nous y avons dîné un mercredi soir.Rien à dire sur la qualité et la saveur des plats proposés. Les deux serveuses étaient très aimables et très professionnelles. Elles ont réussi à garder le sourire durant toute la soirée, même si elle semblaient débordées par le monde.En effet, seul point noir de la soirée, l'attente était très longue ( nous avons attendus presque une heure avant d'être servis). Même la table à côté de nous s'est levée car elle se demandait si on l'avait oubliée. Je comprend les serveuses car elles faisaient tout ( service, encaissement...)La patronne était installée à l'intérieur à une table et ne s'occupait même pas des encaissements. Cela aurait peut être pu faire diminuer l'attente . Elle ne semblait pas concernée par le sort de son personnel. Dommage, cependant, je ne peux que vous conseiller cet établissement si vous n'êtes pas pressé !

We were lucky enough to visit Le Clos Mirande with friends who live locally. From the pre-dinner drinks overlooking the beautiful countryside to the delicious three course meal, everything was delightful. Our young waiter was knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. The whole evening was perfect. Congratulations!

Our waitress wasn't having the best evening and seemed surprised by a request for Calvados, which was on the menu but not available from the bar, and I ended up with Armagnac instead. Alas. Otherwise, things went well for us and a fairly large number of diners enjoying a balmy summer evening overlooking an empty runway, many of whom appeared to be regulars. We both had scallops (Saint-Jacques); hers was part of a set menu (appetizer through dessert), but mine was a single plate because it only came that way and I decided not to order anything else. That worked out well, as her other dishes were enough to share â even dessert. The food, service, and setting were all very good â not exceptional perhaps, but reliable.

Parfait pour un déjeuner rapide à petit budget! Repas correct entre collègues avant de reprendre notre activité.Service souriant et salle correctement insonorisée où l'on peut bavarder sans trop déranger son voisinage.Le menu change chaque jour avec plusieurs options propres à satisfaire tout un chacun.

Parfait pour un déjeuner rapide sans chichis entre collègues, au sortir d'une réunion.Accueil dans la salle du fond(réservée)bon choix d'entrées, rôti de porc,fromage & dessert, le tout à un prix contenu. Que demander de mieux?

A neighbour recommended this restaurant - and it is fabulous. Do not be fooled by the location (next to a duel carriage way), or think it is just another roadside café..Park around the back in their car park and enter a restaurant 'par excellence'. It was faultless. Opting for the tranquil and shaded courtyard setting on a sunny lunchtime rather than inside, we enjoyed a fixed price menu at 29â¬, although there is a plat de jour for 19.50⬠or a la carte if desired. It is not cheap but the quality is superb, the staff very courteous and attentive, and the food delicious, as was the wine. What a great place.

Very high standard for restaurant sited on small retail complex. Open 7/7, offering coffee to excellent a la crate menu choice. Plenty of parking on the whole site that houses large hardware and garden furniture Watehouse type store and large toy shop. Food well presented and cooked. Would recommend booking on a Sunday.

Tres bon restaurant pas très cher proposant des menu aux alentours de 10⬠, 13⬠ou 21â¬. On decouvre une cuisine sim ple mais très bonne.Le menu a 13⬠proposait ce jour par ex : Entrée salade gésier ou campagne très bonne Plat de viande frittes ou poisson, excellent rouget choisit . Dessert glace ou pomme four très bonne C équilibre goûteux bref très bon pour le tarif La salle est classique mais un peu bruyante car plus de 30 personnes peuvent être attablées.Tout est bien MAIS. L'attente est malheureusement longue .... Lorsque l'on travaille ce la peut penaliser .donc gros bémol pour moi ce jour !Sinon chapeau bas a la serveuse qui n pas arrêté une seconde et quelle énergie pour tenter de tout faire ( commandes service encaissement )

We popped in after a recommendation from the a lady in the boulangerie across the square. Set priced menus with plenty of choice. We had asparagus to start, followed by steak and chips. Rouge wine good quality. The restaurant was full and very pleasant, both owners were very welcoming. First Class, would defiantly recommend.
