We remembered the premises when this was Lou Paleisoun (now closed), and thought we should try the new establishment. Service was definitely friendly and attentive, but the verdict is patchy overall. The special medievales menu was very basic and could have hit the spot, but there were a number of issues. A bill of 90 euros for aperitifs, two mains, two desserts, carafe of rose, bottle of water and two coffees is steep for the following reasons: the huge entrecote was at least one third gristle, not good for 22 euros, and the colonel at 11 euros contained the cheapest tasting table vodka you could find in France. I fared much better: my octopus stew and risotto were very good in my main and the panne cotta with salted caramel was nice too...and big...even if it was served in a paper coffee cup. Unrefined overall, but with some definite good points. I wish the young people who have taken over every success.

We left Marseille quickly instead of staying for a couple of days as planned. It was gritty and traffic jammed and so we headed instead toward our next stop in Cannes. Our tummies rumbled and so we pulled off to Brignoles to have a quick snack. You know.. a coffee and baguette kind of lunch. What a fabulous decision. We accidentally fell upon El Cochino. The service was first class and the food a delight. We highly recommend it. We simply did not expect if to be as outstanding as it was for us. The food was simply stated first class. Congrats to the m'ment, staff and chef. We sought the chef out and thanked him for our beautiful lunch.

Looking for a fine eatery and read reviews on TripAdvisor - this place was highly recommended so we went. It is light food only and mostly salad. Don't be looking for steak et frites here! Nice wine, great food, friendly service, a scratching of English spoken and nice to our dogs. Also super stylish lemon squeezers!

We had lunch here in 2013 and loved this little restaurant in a beautiful tranquil outdoor setting on Place de la Mairie, quality home cooked food at reasonable prices, highly recommended.

Restaurant has outdoor seating along the main road of Cotignac. Very busy during Summer days and booking is def recommended. We were accepted without a booking (since we were very early for dinner) and all in all it was an exceptional experience were it for the fact that there seemed to be just 2 ppl serving a packed restaurant resulting in long waits! The food was genuine Provence food, among the best we had throughout our stay. The squid risotto and the lamb tagine were absolutely to die for! The prices are very reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend this place!

Our cuisine is that of Provence and Italy, terroirs and flavors, friendship and generosity. It evolves with the seasons, small market vegetables and fresh herbs accompany stewed meat and scented fish.
We went last year to this lovely restaurant in Cotignac and were not disappointed the second time. The building is right in the middle of the vineyards - a great location: our dog was allowed in - no problem: The food is cooked by the chef who owns the place and the efficient service is conducted by his wife and staff. All the dishes were very tasty.merci et ravi de vous avoir fait plaisir bon séjour en Provencedany jean luc et son équipe

This compact restaurant is quite basic and unpretentious but well worth a visit for its well cooked good food. A menu which Is varied enough to meet all tastes and not extortionate in price. Friendly service. One interesting feature is the open kitchen which enables diners to watch the chef at work.

This is a very attractive restaurant where one can eat outside under the shade of trees listening to the trickling of the water from this most unusual fountain which looks like a tree dripping water! The food was of good quality, nicely served by friendly staff. We would return.

What a delightful evening we had at this gorgeous and unassuming restaurant in Montforts-sur-Argens. Service impeccable friendly and warmly attentive. We had the 26⬠set menu and the 30⬠set menu. Both were amazing 3 courses. I really can't believe how good the food was for this price. Every mouthful was delectable! The location outside was lovely but inside the restaurant was also very quaint. I think this has to be the best night out I've had for a very long time. And for the price....well it was priceless!

It is hard to describe quite how good a restaurant Auberge du Parc is.Whether you go for lunch or dinner the staff are attentive, welcoming and professional. The menu is excellent and the fixed price one is always worth having. There is a beautiful patio to sit outside, but winter is equally attractive because the inside is very cosy.
