Just had to treat our son on his "wedding booze cruise" to our favourite seaside restaurant. Fabulous fois gras, tasty fresh oysters, succulent white flakes of sea bass, and buttered sole, rare fillet... Cheese board to die for and delightful crème brulee.Excellent service. Excellent venue.

Stopped here for lunch on day trip to Calais. Food was outstanding, beautifully prepared and well-presented. The three prix fixe menus offered limited but good choice of food. The little extras were provided by the things that were not on the menus, the mises en bouche, the bread, the little extras with coffee, etc. Service was attentive and good. I wish we could eat like this in the UK without paying silly money and being pretentious.

My husband and I had a fabulous meal here. Itâs a small restaurant, it only seats around 30 people. The chef really cares about his food. I had a great goats cheese starter, my husband had a salmon starter. For mains we both had meatball tagine it was so GOOD! We also had a coffee and 3 small pastryâs. We are planning to go back in 3 months time. Fabulous restaurant.

We stumbled across this restaurant and it wasn't our first choice. Most were shut despite websites saying they were open. We were looking for a light lunch. Although the menu was fairly limited for lunch time, the food was superb quality. We all had starters followed by cheese and coffees. Including wine and sparkling water the total for the four of us was 98 Euros. I would not hesitate to return and would probably select it for dinner next time. Service was friendly and attentive.Thank you very much for this comment. We'll be happy to see you again.See you soon.

Another visit to this amazing restaurant today. Family owned and run, service second to none and Caroline will look after you so well. When we visit Calais we would not go anywhere else. Menu to suit all tastes and budgets. Itâs so French. Thanks for looking after us so well. Good multi storey parking in the block next door, about 40 cents for nearly 3 hours and free parking in the road space permitting.Open all day, they deserve to do well. Thanks again.Tim and Martyn (Welwyn, England)

We ate here on the last night of our holiday. Very pleased with the place. Recently opened, decked out in marine style. Food is very good quality and good value. Service is rather laid back and homely - though I suspect this will change as they become more experienced. Very child friendly, including a games room with lovely old-fashioned wooden toys for the kids (and the grown ups) to play with. Thoroughly enjoyed it.Thanks a lot!! It's really nice to satisfy our guests! See you as soon as possible!!

"La Tourello" is a reasoned Bistronomic Restaurant that offers its customers a worked and creative local food in a convivial environment.
An unassuming building, but busy and comfortable inside. We all had the menu at 29 euros. The creme brulee was a very unusual starter. The orange sauce with the chicken was a previously untried combination. Cafe courmands to finish. Presentation, service and cooking were all good.

We visited on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation (recommended!) and got a nice table on the first floor next to the window overlooking the ferries to England entering/leaving the harbour. The fish menu was excellent absolutely fresh. We spend eu70 for two three courses menus, apéritives and both a glas of Chablis. Highly recommended!
