Traditional French restaurant based in Rungis Ville and working solely fresh products directly from the Rungis International Market . The Restaurant LOUIS XIII is open from Monday to Saturday noon and Friday and Saturday Night .
This restaurant caters to business people working in the Orly airport/Rungis market area outside of Paris. There is a daily menu with good market fresh choices, thoughtfully prepared. The setting is quiet and off the main streets, it has the feeling of a little French village even though it is tucked right behind some very busy national highways and business zones. I would recommend the fresh salads (I tried avocado timbale with grilled baby gambas...delicious), the daily seafood specials (I had the noix de Saint Jacques, scallops grilled and served with tagliatelle noodles) and the fresh fruit desserts: a lovely silver cup of fresh strawberries dusted with powdered sugar was a hit.Prices are reasonable but not cheap: â¬32 each for the above menu without the dessert and with a glass of Chardonnay.

Local french restaurant. Very friendly staff, very nice atmosphere. If I happen to land in Vitry-sur-Seine again, I would eat again there with no hesitation.

One of the nicest tea salon's I have been too. Very cozy and plush décor, wonderful menu choices and a very extensive tea list, as well. The food is delicious here, and the presentation is very nice. Friendly staff and your meal is always served with a smile. Great place to meet with friends or as a couple. I highly recommend this charming place.

The restaurant is fairly new, in a building across from the Marie de Villejuif; in nice weather they have what would be a very sunny terrace. We were there for dinner, in January, so the terrace was NOT on our agenda. The party was four people, three adults and a well traveled 12 year old. I ordered the scallops wrapped in parma-ham as my starter, they were deicious and perfectly cooked, just done through, but still with the texture of uncooked in the center. My companion ordered house prepared Salmon Gravlax, I tasted it and it was also quite good. I ordered the faux fillet special (looked and tasted to me like an excellent NY Strip) served with potatoes and a nice salad of mixed greens. The other two adults ordered Fillet du Bar (we think it is Sea Bass) and again it was excellent. The youngest ordered Riosotto de Truffle and wasn't too happy with her choice (it was the 1st time she'd ordered Risotto, I tried a good taste of it and it was good too). We enjoyed a bottle of Cote du Rhone and desserts (all prepared to order). Service was good, food was very good to excellent and the atmosphere stylishly modern. I would recommend the restaurant, it is not far from the line 7 stop for Marie de Villjuif.

Very nice staff & enough staff available to provide us with refills directly. A friend ordered a steak that was cooked exactly according to her directions. Plates are simple, not greatly decorated or anything, but my dish overall tasted quite good. The friendly staff and the prompt service together with the good food makes me rate this restaurant higher than 'average' (although 'good' is likely a better description compared to 'very good'). Bathrooms very clean, much better than most other restaurants I've seen in Paris.

We went with a party of three for hubby's birthday because we wanted something special. This was it!The decor is warm and trendy. The staff is professional, courteous and knowledgeable about the food and wine.We all had a main and dessert with wine. I had scallops and lentils. There has never been a more perfectly cooked scallop!!! Excellently seasoned lentils with crispy pork bits and a ginger emulsion. Daughter had a poultry dish with a variety of parsnip accompaniments. Each variety of parsnip was just divine! Hubby had venison that he really liked. Dessert was a chocolate mousse cake with ice cream. Little appetizers and desserts are served between courses. I very much recommend this restaurant! Can't wait for another occasion to return!

A must try!Succulent Gillardeau oysters N3, beautiful grilled cod and a plate of sauté boletus with garlic made our meal a real success. The staff is well trained, pleasant and efficient. You have the choice either to stay at the Brasserie level (cheaper), or go downstairs for a more formal and intimate moment.Bravo!
