The â¬18 set menu for dinner was excellent value. The food was delicious and choices good. The people were very friendly and it has a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant was completely full and they coped well.Situated almost opposite the Ibis hotel and well worth eating there if staying in that hotel.

Graphic, dynamic and creative cooking. Local & fresh products, from "le marché du Chef". Restaurant brilliantly different...
We were a party of 6 travelling with Le Boat on the Canal de Garonne and spent a wonderful evening in the open air and enjoyed good food freshly prepared and great beer and wine. The owner was very friendly and worked incredibly hard to make everyone in the restaurant enjoy their meals.Highly recommended.

A good way to have a healthy and tasty dinner. It took them around half an hour to prepare our order but the staff was friendly and the juice was great.

Petit etablissement avec peu de table, situé dans le quartier historique de la ville, ambiance cosy. décoration alliant le bois et moderne.
Our evening meal was a delightful experience. The fish courses were especially good. Our hostess was charming and efficient and great trouble was taken with the wine. This was a memorable dinner, even if the magret de canard was slightly below the standard of the rest of the meal.

We had a very good relaxing moment, having great fresh food on a sunny small place outside. Waitress was gentle, cooks/ chefs excellent and yet humble. In a word or a hundred : whenever you want a quiet moment to share good French food on a summer meal, just go there!

In Agen on a boating holiday. My daughter saw this restaurant and talked us in to eating here. Not being a lover of crepes I was not expecting great thins......how wrong I was. This is a Breton restaurant, sweet or savoury, it came in a crepe, and it was lovely. What a superb meal we had and the staff are 1st class.

Five of us decided to try this highly recommended restaurant hidden away in Box village. Our initial recce during a cycle ride was positive and we booked a table for the following Friday evening in the outstanding garden. On our arrival we were warmly welcomed by the manager and shown to our table. He also offered us a choice of aperitif and we all decided to sample a gin and tonic. The Menus arrived and offered a choice of three course or seven course gourmand dining plus al a carte. We all decided to try the three course gourmand on offer and were delighted with the food. The carte de van also offers a good selection of wine and I chose a decent bottle of Cahors which was decanted at the table. An amuse bouche helped soak up the gin and prepare us for the starter which can only be described as outstanding. A mixed and varied selection of mouth watering dishes served on one plate. Eventually we all managed to complete this food journey and took in the surroundings awaiting the main event. My guinea fowl (or black chicken as the manager described it) accompanied with a red pepper crumble, was superb and cooked perfectly. The chosen wine soon came to an end and our request for 'another' resulted in the realisation that the wine we chose had ran out. This was swiftly remedied by the offer of a better wine at the same price - great service. The puddings were again superb and started a minor disagreement at the table as to which was the best. I must say that my panna cotta was one of the best I have ever eaten. Overall a fantastic meal at a great price that I look forward to repeating the next time we visit the area. Highly recommended.
