Right on the embanquement, just above the beach, and with a wonderful view on the sea and the sunset, this is probably the best restaurant in Villers-sur-Mer (at least this is what our host advised, and we can not certainly disagree). Formal and efficient service, great seafood (and I am sure the meats as well), it is not cheap - but worth every euro you spend. A beautiful place, we'll be back!

Everything on the menu is sourced locally and made fresh so donât expect a 10 page menu choice. We were impressed by every dish, the presentation was superb and the range of tastes innovative. Particularly enjoyed the veal and the chocolate dessert but the menu does change so expect to be surprised. Would not be surprised to hear that this restaurant wins some awards! A little gem very close to more expensive Deauville.

We were pottering around the centre of town having had a long walk along the wind blown but beautiful sea front. Though it's a smallish place it has plenty of food choice and the locals were out eating in force at lunch time. My wife is very fond of smoked salmon and here it was being offered in a galette (a buckwheat savoury crepe) with a lemon cream (â¬8). I had a cheese and apple galette â¬7.60) after considering their scallop & cognac offering. As I was eating this tasty pancake the waitress passed by with the scallop type and I regretted at that point not ordering it but the regret vanished quite quickly. The food was simply delicious and quickly served up. We chose a bottle of organic local cider (â¬10) at 3 per cent proof to accompany the food and it was very drinkable. We finished off with a flambéed grand mariner (â¬5) and a butter crepe (â¬2). Friendly staff with a little English spoken. Really worth a visit or two. The photograph illustrates perfectly the stone interior, wooden chairs and quaint place.

Cuisine créative et raffinée, service décontracté mais professionnel, pour un repas entre amis ou pour un tête à tête romantique.Nous seront là pour vous accueillir avec le sourire.
A fantastic fusion on Korean and French cookingVery small menu but excellentFirst time I had the langoustine to start. Served rawxsnd then covered in a broth which 'cooks' the fish. Great depth of flavour. Tittilayes the palate. Foowed by a fantastic sea bass.Secondtime around had the veal tartare to start. Again full of interedting flavours though Im not sure the nuts add anyghing to ghe dish. Followed it with the dish of the day a J0hn Dory with lentils and a fantastic foam . Great depth if flavour.Really excellent food.
Where to eat Pub food in Saint-Laurent-d'Aigouze: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Really good quality food. Attentive service. Friendly and accommodating to children. Bizarrely on the day we went it was relatively empty compared to many of the other restaurants in the strip many of which get much worse reviews! The extra space suited us as we had several young children in our party so we decided to give it a go anyway. Very glad we did. It was the most enjoyable meal of our holiday. Beautifully cooked and nicely presented. Small but quality wine list. Would definitely recommend.

Why do you need to make it difficult when it is much better to make it just simple? The owners of this small and cosy restaurant have understood that the first receipt of a good restaurant is to be kind with its clients. So they are, specially with children! Agree with another remark on this restaurant: they will probably never get a Michelin star. And so what? Food is fresh and local, well prepared (specially crepes and mussels) and prices are fair, including for drinks (a bottle of local cider costs just 9 euros). If, moreover, it is walking distance from a very cosy hotel (La villa des fleurs), what else can you ask for?Another tip? Try the outside (foot heating) tables!

Nice little place. Had a very good lunch, friendly service, enjoyable outdoor patio. I had the Italian salad, it was excellent and not too large. Hubby had a raclette which he had never had before and he thought it was delicious. We didnât plan to gave dessert, but I had a scoop of dark chocolate ice cream and it was incredible! Just what this chocolate lover craves. Hubby had a delicious dessert with ice cream, whipped cream and Carmel sauce and it was amazing!(Sorry, we forgot the name of it!) Prices were reasonable. I definitely recommend!

Deauville on Sunday , without booking, really hard to find a table on nice place, and Deauville is an annexe of Paris, high price for average qualitybut here it was different, the team was warm welcome , the menu is not so large, food was yummy and tasty, portion generous, the restaurant is right in the heart of the posh area , really good spot !

There is a new team at this superb modern restaurant. Not only does it have delightful view over the protected wetlands just inland from the beach of Villers sur Mer from the various terraces and windows, the food is terrific, the prices represent excellent value and the staff exceptional. My only TINY gripe is that the background music is a touch intrusive, hence 4 stars not 5.A booking is advised as it always seems busy.

We only wanted a light lunch so this little bistro was a perfect choice for us. There were lots of French people eating there which is usually a good sign. Some lighter choices were available such as galettes and crepes and salads. There of us chose salads and the other had croque monsieur. The salads were fresh and tasty and big portions. The plat du jour was very good value but only if you want a big lunch unfortunately- it did look a good choice though. Service was efficient and friendly and the prices were very reasonable
