We arrived without a reservation on a busy Friday evening and were found a nice table for two. The waitress was exceptionally helpful and we were in luck, because she spoke excellent English. The food was lovely - I had fish, my husband, steak. Both dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed my dessert of Ile flottante, my husband had profiterole vanille which he said was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommended. We thanked our waitress for her attentiveness.

This is a small, eccentrically run, and extremely popular restaurant near the marina in Fécamp.Booking is essential. The restaurant specialises in seafood and there is a limited non-seafood menu. There are always several fresh fish choices, and regular shellfish specials.very good quality fish and good value. We shared a delicious plateau de fruits de mer, which contained oysters, prawns and brown shrimps, whelks, winkles crab, langoustines, etc. All delicious and fresh.Good choice of well-[riced local wines.Very enjoyable and we will return next time we are in Fécamp.

We were staying in Yport and not sure where to eat. Finally decided on this restaurant and so pleased we did. We chose the â¬29 menu and it was excellent. The fruit de mer starter was excellent as we're the mussels. We both had mains of cod in a sauce with fresh veg. The fish was perfectly cooked, so fresh and good sized portions. The cheese course was excellent, which was followed by our dessert choice of ice cream with a calvados sauce. This was to die for, fantastic. We had An excellent bottle of inexpensive white wine, a glass of red wine (choice of the restaurant) with our cheese, followed by coffee and Calvados. I considered the whe me to be inexpensive, the service very attentive and non pretentious. All in all we had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed our visit which exceeded our expectations.

A small restaurant , almost hidden in a small square. In a place with a lot of turistic restaurants it offers a different way for tasting the Normandie cooking.Good balance quality/cost.

Upon reading reviews of this place on trip advisor. I thought it would be nice to pop in for some lunch. The food was very affordable and very high quality. We paid just under â¬20 each for 3 courses. The choices were limited. You had two starters, three mains and two deserts to choose from. Keeping selection small I guess made them extremely good at the dishes they did offer. If you go you won't be disappointed.

Charming small seafood restaurant in tiny Yport with great food. Building is easily recognizable by its Penn Dutch barn type roof - you'll see it. Inside is a pleasant modern appointed restaurant with a nice bright feeling. Great food! We enjoyed moulle frites, bulots, shrimp and veggies. Delicious, fresh and memorable. ...

Le Cabestan restaurant is located by the sea on the beach Yport . It offers , for over 4 years, to taste "galette bretonne" , pancakes and mussels and salads. We welcome you in a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy admiring the panorama We al
A nice location overlooking the beach in this attractive little seaside village. The galettes are tasty and so filling that we didn't have room to try their sweet crêpes. The service was very friendly and efficient and very tolerant of our boisterous family group. There is a small pavement terrace and a few tables on the ground floor inside but there is a larger dining room upstairs with a view of the beach and the cliffs.

Yport boasts about half a dozen restaurants - some better than others, of course. This is one of the better ones.La Falaise only seats about 20 people in total, so best to either book a table or arrive early. It's just had a change of ownership, and they are definitely doing something right. We had lunch there this week, and we are looking forward to going back. The welcome was warm by both staff and the other local diners. The whole menu is on a large chalkboard so they can change it to whatever is fresh that day. I had a wonderful chevre salad that was loaded with delicious lardons, walnuts, tomatoes, lettuce, and of course toast with rounds of lovely chevre cheese. It was delicious and ample. My husband had a massive steak that was served with buttery new potatoes and fresh vegetables. He is claiming this is the best steak he's ever had.We split an apple tart with fresh cream and a really nice salted caramel sauce for our dessert. Our waitress could not have been more helpful. Although we (mostly) spoke French with her, I think she would have been fine speaking English as well. This is a place you shouldn't miss.
