We were with nine persons in this very French restaurant and had a very good dinner. We al nine had different things, but everybody was enthusiastic. I choose the king prawns and it tasted very good. The only thing to criticize is that the portion was not very extended. But the others had meat and there that wasn't the case. It is a nice restaurant for a fare price.

The welcoming is very friendly. The service very efficient. The menu shows a sufficiently wide range of possibilities. We went for the pizza cooked in the wood oven. I missed a typical diabola. The quality and taste was good but not extraordinary as I was expecting from the excellent reviews. You will need your car if your are staying in the town since it is around 6km from the center. Good choice

On est toujours accueilli avec chaleur malgré la foule dans la petite salle on est très serrer car il i à beaucoup de client comme toujour tout était parfait bon et copieux et rapide quel ambiance bravo à toute l'équipe a bientôt

Very friendly restaurant, with great food and they do not skimp on the potions. Situated by a wonderful lake, perfect to walk around after your meal. While we did not stay at the Auberge it looking very nice.

We made reservations for this restaurant on a Saturday evening without really knowing what to expect. This place didn't disappoint. Very nice and authentic interior with a splendid view on the valley. We had a bad start as the cremant we ordered tasted of cork, but we instantly received a new bottle. From then on, nothing to complain about. The chef lifts traditional Alsacian dishes to a much higher level. Original and above all very tasty! We chose the "selected wines" options and we were happy we did. All in all, our best culinary experience of our one week Alsace.

Nice atmosphere and good food. Probably not the cheapest place to have dinner but we were impressed with quality and size of the dishes. We had 3 menu's, a "coquelet" (small chicken), a dish with varied grilled meat and my son had a "entrecôte". The menu's came with some grilled vegetables and a piece of rösti. The other items came with vegetables, side salad and fries. The food was good and the deserts were very tasty. The food was served hot and served in a good timing, so no long waits, even with the restaurant quite full.The restaurant allows you to sit in- or outside with a nice view on the valley below with a small animal parc with deer. It has a playroom for children. As with most French restaurants, pets are allowed.

We were campers on the Domaine de Champé so availed of the opportunity to eat here. Main meals work out about 20-25euro each but the food is fantastic and the atmosphere in summer is great, there was a magician in the restaurant on a Tuesday night while we were there although he only spoke to the FRENCH customers which was highly annoying! Other entertainment like bands etc. Wouldn't eat there every night while camping as you'd be broke, but definitely worth a go.

Heel lekker eten en zeker voldoende voor grote eters, super vriendelijke bediening! Het was al 21.15 toen we nog met vijf hongerige mensen binnen vielen hier en we konden direkt aan tafel. We kregen een amuse hapje bij onze aperitief en niet veel later kwam het voorgerecht er al aan. Dan werd er voldoende tijd gelaten voor het hoofdgerecht kwam en voor de dessert moesten we maar een seintje geven werd er gezegd. Er werd ons een lekkere fles wijn aangeraden en die hebben we dan ook genomen, nog een koffie na en met de aperitief, de 3 gangen menu en de wijn waren we voor 5 personen 130 euro kwijt wat wel weinig was vonden we. Een echte aanrader!!!

Great restaurant! Especially considering the neighborhood. Very friendly staff! Very understanding about pregnancy and diet wishes. We both had chicken as a main course. Yummy! For dessert we had a chocolate cake and a red fruit dessert. Both really nice :)

We arrived in Gérardmer late in the evening and stumbled upon this restaurant in hope rather than expectation. We'd had a long day in the car and the kids were tired. But we were met with excellent service, wonderful food and great drinks. The food was simple but well cooked and the cheese plate was a revelation. Really reasonably priced and just what we needed after a long day travelling. Dear Sir or Madam, We thank you for this comment. Hope to see you again in a near futurRegards
