Possibly it's a bit unfair to comment on atmosphere, for Yvoire was surprisingly quiet in the evenings despite it being Easter week. As a result most restaurants weren't open. I had the local lake perch speciality - nothing very remarkable about it. I guess when the bill comes to â¬89 for two (including a bottle of pretty ordinary local wine) you expect something a bit more than something that would be well described as "OK, but nothing special"merci d'avoir laissé votre commentaire.Nous serons heureux de vous accueillir de nouveau bientôt.

and which is open on Monday evening! quite rare in France, or at least in the "countryside".was there with some English friends for whom it was a first time in this region. Food was correct: I took 'filets de perche' and they were good, the tiramisu delicious!. The service was friendly and nice. The decoration of the restaurant is very cosy and modern. It's a pity that the toilets have not been renovated like the rest and that they are just in front of the reception desk with a quite low sound insulation..briefly, nice restaurant.

All restaurants in Port Sechex being fully booked, and having no reservation, we started of in the direction of Sciez. But just a few hundred meters past Port Sechex you cross a small stream, 'Le Redon', and a sign point towards the lakeshore. And there it was: a small, very well kept nice restaurant right on the lake. With ample outside seating. We were welcomed by charming staff, and looked after very well. The food was good and well served. We had the persillade de filets de fera, lovely with lots of crispy french fries and a green salad like only the french can do. A good place to go if you want to avoid the posher and more touristy places in Port Sechex.

Sitting by the edge of Lac Leman, taking in the last rays of a very hot day's sun as it sets on the North West side of the lake, is one of the highlights of any stay near Evian in France. The filets de perches, sets the tone for a very relaxed evening in a bubbly, busy lakeside restaurant and the Provencal Rosie wine washes the whole experience down in a very satisfying way. The service is good, the environment relaxed and the prices reasonable. And while the adults eat and 'blather', the kids and younger members can play and hang out on the beach. Definitely a family place,

We have thoroughly enjoyed the excellent cuisine, good value and attentive but discrete service offered by Le Clos du Lac ever since it opened a several years ago. The only problem is getting a table on the weekends as this restaurant is very popular with the locals which always a good sign. It offers a welcome alternative to Perch/Frites/Salad menu formula on offer at virtually all the other nearby local restaurants along this part of the lake. Although it does not have a lake view, it is very close to the lake and offers shelter from the frequent local lake winds and pleasant shade in the rear garden in summer with linen table clothes and napkins. Indoors is decorated with excellent taste and has a real fire in winter. The short menu reflects it's commitment to local, seasonal produce, beautifully cooked and presented. The sauces are very light and delicate. The menu du marche is very good value at 29 euro for 3 courses or 23e for 2. And theres always a good choice. The quality is consistently good everytime we go and now there are some value rooms available to make a night of it.Considering how important tourism is to the Chablais region around Lac Leman, there is a surprisingly limited choice of really high quality, all year restaurants so this restaurant is well appreciated and patronised.Powercats.

Enjoy an extraordinary view. Our restaurant « Les Jardins du Léman » has a perfect location and has a panoramic terrace with stunning views of the lake, the castle and the medieval village. Come discover our authentic cuisineAn original menu, fine dining,
We had an absolutely prefect lunch on the terrace panoramique. The view on the lake was gorgeous, the service super friendly and the food excellent. Every plate was beautifully dressed and a perfect composition of different tastes. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine with our meal and loved every drop of it. Great experience, highly recommended!

Visited this restaurant during our 2 week European trip. Unfortunately was one of the worst meal during our gastronomic voyage.PositivePopular place in a good location in a picturesque lakeside fishing village.Overall friendly service NegativeVery limited seafood selection for a restaurant that positioned them self as exclusive seafood restaurant Food if very, very heavy greasy and over-salted even for a French standards Preparation and presentation is very basic and far inferior many other good places we visited during our trip.Overall not recommend Alex

Whilst the postal town for this restaurant is Margencel, it is in the part called Port de Sechez which is indeed the little fishing port of Sechez. From the five ways junction on the old N5 take the road down to the lake and you should see signs for the restaurant. The dining room is beautifully positioned at the edge of the lake and there are plenty of tables outside protected by a large awning. As you can expect most dishes are fish from the lake especially perche and féra. We had one of each and I still prefer féra here. Being a bigger fish it doesn't seem to differ so much from one restaurant to another whereas perche can. There are a few good set menus and à la carte. Wine is available by pichet (open) or bottle.Out waitress gave excellent service only to be thwarted a couple of times by the owner! In one case she kept all staff talking so everyone was waiting for service.

We visited to celebrate our friends wedding anniversary. We had booked a table overlooking Lac Leman in the glass pergola ready for the sunset. The set menu is good value with perfectly executed courses. The mixed local fish, fera starter including carpaccio, mousse and gazpacho was exquisite. There was a fish or meat option to follow and all of the steaks were cooked according to each person's taste. I had fear as a main course which was produced with a light summery dressing accompanied by a courgette style salsa. The deserts did not disappoint with a choice of local tarts, fruit mousses, ice creams or chocolate. The finale was an orange coloured digestiv which the waitress said was from the Philippines. I have never tasted it before but it was a pleasant surprise from the usual Haute Savoie genepi or chartreuse! We will be back!Hello,Thank you for your so kind comment. The latter goes straight to the heart to us. We are satisfied to see that your meal in Jolla completely satisfied you, all the more for a so beautiful event as your wedding anniversary.By hoping to see again you in Jolla,Very cordially,Sandrine Trincaz and all the team of Jolla

Gastronomic cuisine prepared with the top regional products, following the seasons' rythm, including our household vegetable garden. Authentic food, tasty with delicate flavours is to describe our chef's cuisine. Restaurant opens from Wednesday to Monday
This is a gastronomic hotel restaurant located on the chores of lake Leman. The place is run by the 3rd generation of managing mothers and daughters. Currently twin sisters maintain the place and the great culinary. Vegetables are grown in their garden. Fish comes from Lake Leman. the food is cooked to perfection - well seasoned and good sized portions. I am wondering how fun would be to stay at the Chateau.Dear Guest MCNICE9,We have been honoured to welcome you at the restaurant and truly thank you for sharing your positive feedback. We look forward to welcoming you again in our 12th century château.
