We happened upon this quaint restaurant on our return from Utah Beach. Situated in the center of town just a few kilometers from the beach and on the main street. The food was simple and elegant and highly enjoyable. We enjoyed Kronenberg 1664 along with our lunch. Good service, reasonable prices.

This is a lovely, well-run hotel in a quiet country setting very near Utah Beach. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, the accommodations comfortable and clean in a large room with an oversize bathroom. The couple--Katharine and Bill--who runs the hotel are both friendly and pleasant. Definitely recommend.

english-speaking francoise put the gloss on this simple, but tasty meal: a seafood "stew" for me and a galette for my wife. this is not pretentious restaurant, just a village eatery, but none the worse for that. will eat here again if in the area.

Located in the central square of St. Marie du Mont, just opposite the church, this traditional Normand restaurant serves local mussels cooked in 5 different ways.Mussels comes with french fries. The portion is really giant and the mussels are delicious.I also recommend the Camembert Roti, local cheese served molten with croutons. The price is very reasonable.

We were visiting WWII sites in this town on a Sunday and most restaurants were closed so there wasn't much choice. We ordered omelets which came with salads. It was a bit costly for such a simple lunch with a glass of wine for 2 - 45 euros. They also only accept cash.

Sat and waited outside for ages for some one to come and take an order, my partner ended up going inside to order and get our drinks, even though there was only 1 other table being used. The staff are extremely rude and unfriendly and never spoke any English, would advise other tourists to avoid this place and walk down the road to go eat or drink else where.

The atmosphere here is lacking--sterile without a lot of character with the feel of catering to tour buses (there were several very large groups there during our visit). The food wasn't great, but it was better than expected. The menu was quite large and varied. There is even a gift shop attached if you are so inclined.

Found by accident on a Thursday night & wow! What a happy accident this small restaurant is friendly, reasonably priced with fantastic and an imaginative menu. Primarily there are buckwheat pancakes, however this is not all it does & for those who donât want savoury pancakes there other tasty menu items. I loved the unhurried feel of this place despite being small there was no rush. Do not leave Ste Mere-Eglise without eating here, your tastebuds will thank you.

Called in here as in October several of the recommended eateries were closed on a Saturday. The greeting was typically french slightly surly as was the service throughout. Table they took us to was next to kitchen doors so not good. Food was OK. Therefore somewhat mixed thoughts about this place.

We stopped during a road trip for a quick dinner. The salmon galette was delicious but the chocolate caramel crepe was out of this world. The service was super and our limited French was not a liability. This is a beautiful town to visit.
