We just keep coming back to Le Bienheureux. A bit off the beaten path, in a lovely small village, it is well worth taking the time to visit. The folks are lovely, the chef prepares fresh fare beautifully, and the summer salads prepared lovingly by L. more than copious and refreshing.Only thing is they don't accept credit cards.

The best meal this holiday! Perfect location by the side of the Ardeche river, excellent, friendly service and wonderful food and wine. We have been here last year and were very pleased to be back again... We're going again tomorrow night!

You seriously don't need a main course - or, share a started - the portion size here is big (and I have a biiiiig appetite). Great "taureau" steak served when we were there - take it rare so that it doesn't end up like an old boot!! And try the Ch'ti ice cream which is a lixture of gingerbread and pecan vanilla ice cream - lush!

The food was great. What's more, the presentation went far beyond our expectations. Will be happy to come back again and certainly recommended.

Pleasant location near the water. The food is of good quality with medium-sized portions. The service is courteous, but can be very slow. I came there for lunch and ended up spending almost 2 hours, mostly waiting for them to bring the courses.

We made a lunch stop here after driving through the Gorges de lâArdeche. A home-made burger and chips, crepes and ice cream, coffees and a bottle of water came to 28 Euros which was good value. The non-English-speaking waitress was very friendly and the café is in a pleasant square overlooking the River Ardeche.

If you fancy a 20 minute walk through a natural stone footpath along the river, from St Martin, you arrive in Sauze, ready to eat. Great restaurant with a fine, and much needed, water system that makes sure you stay cool whilst your baking in the mid-Summer heat! Good choice of food although slightly more expensive that Patou Batou Guingette that is across the road - both restaurants worth a try!

Situated in the center of Aiguèze which is a village among the most beautiful villages of France ("Les plus beaux villages de France"), Le Bouchon welcomes you in the shade of the plane trees at the village's main square. Open from April to Octobre.Runned
We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant, and enjoyed both the friendly service and delicious food. The outside seating on the village square is lovely, but the inner courtyard and inside also looked very nice. We will be back next time!

We did spend dinner with the family and it was ok. There is a playground for the kids which is great. The ambiance is fine. The food is very average and the pizza especially the paste was vey French. The meat ok but too much cooked but the salads were good. However we have spend a nice evening.

We ate from the 21,90 menu and with a couple of bottles of wine we had an excellent, reasonably priced dinner. Nice location overlooking the bridge. Good sized portions so come hungry!
