A small local bistro. Very charming serving staff. Excellent food: local seafood specials and duck . Pre fix lunch menu options were very reasonably priced. Staff does not speak much English but were very accommodating and were able give us good insight to the menu.Owner was on site assuring we were well taken care of as the only American tourists in the place. Recommend highly.

This was part of a vineyard visit. We had an absolutely delicious 4 course lunch with a different wine with each course, all of which were excellent.

After walking along the quayside, our friends had already booked the restaurant for lunchWe sat outside with a nice view of the estuary.A set three course lunch time menu, lovely wine, food, very attractive presentation, delicious and fresh A warm welcome pleasant and efficient staff.

3 courses menu for 15 Euros and the portions were copious! Simple dishes but they tasted very good indeed. Nothing to complain about!I haven't ordered wine but this restaurant's wine list is very interesting with some great choices of local wines. This place is more than recommended - my opinion.

We were recommended this bistrot by one of the wineries we had visited. It is well located on the roadside in the village of St Julien. The welcome was friendly and the service efficient. The food was very good. The pate, baked Camembert and the daily special fish of tuna steaks well cooked and presented. The wine recommended by the server was also very good. All in all a nice relaxing and speedy lunch in Haut Medoc.

A recent reviewer said "average and expensive." From our perspective it was fantastic and reasonably priced, particularly considering the quality of the meal. Mouth watering truffle ravioli, lamb with a garlic sauce that made the plate levitate for me and a chocolate dessert that was pretty close to heaven.I don't think there are a massive number of alternatives in the immediate area, and I don't think you need one. Great place.

From the outside it looks okay, same from the inside. But the food..... wow! Amazingly great food. And in large amounts.Lamb cutlets were cooked to perfection, moist and very tasty. The Landaise salad was very tasty and big. But the chocolate mousse was by far one of the best weâve ever eaten.Service was fast, very friendly and efficient. A place to return to.merci les Ecossais

On the route of the châteaux, close to Château Lynch-Bages, grand cru classé of Pauillac, this 17th century charterhouse invites you to discover true art de vivre. Around a garden, the bright guestrooms with their muted, timeless décor, the pool, the saun
We stayed at the lovely Chateau Cordeillan-bages during harvest and visited other chateaus as well. The Chateau has numerous parlors where you can relax and read. It also has a great pool for laps and a nice gym. Our room had a private patio and though it wasn't a beautifully decorated room, it was comfortable. The bathroom had clarins toiletries and great water pressure in the shower. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant over looking their vineyards. Nice breakfast with everything available. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and thought it was a nice experience with all of their amuse-bouches and sorbets between courses, but neither of us thought our entrees were spectacular. I had the monkfish and my husband had the lamb. The appetizers and desserts were fantastic...as was our bottle of wine.

What a find! We were randomly driving around north of Pauillac. We were hungry but beginning to believe aliens had abducted all the people. All the shops were closed. None of the villages we passed through showed any signs of life.We rounded the corner on the main road through Saint-Seurin and finally saw a restaurant that was open for lunch. We did not expect much. Instead we got a delightful meal with terrific service. They serve only set menus. For lunch there was a choice of 14 or 30 Euro menus. We opted for the 14 Euro three course lunch. The quality of the food surprised us for a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in a small village. We were quite late for lunch. They were sold out of one of the mains for the 14 Euro menu. Without any hesitation the waiter offered my wife her choice of anything from the 30 Euro menu.We had white wine by the glass. We went with the waiter's suggestion of a nearby white, even though the region is only really known for its reds. It was a perfect wine for a hot afternoon and reasonably priced. I never bothered to look at the wine list so cannot comment. Price for an overfilling three-course meal for two including a glass of wine each - 40 Euros.
