Lovely Normandy restaurant, fairly close to my sisters home and about 20 minutes from Giverny. The Restaurant Gabriel looks âFrenchâ from the outside but more Scandinavian modern in the inside with one large room with 60âs wood and Formica tables. Though the room is large it is quite and somehow manages to feel intimate with 60-70s music playing softly in the background. The service was impeccable and the presentation very pleasing to the eye. They promote the products of the region through local producers so everything is fresh. We were each served a delicious cold green pea soup served in a parfait glass. I ordered one of their Menu options, they have several along with a few Ala Cart options. My starter was a shrimp cocktail, again presented beautifully and very tasty. My pork dish was divine and presented on a bed of an incredible chopped mushroom dish. My menu included the appropriate wine accompaniment, which was the only disappointment of the evening â light not full bodied. My sister ordered the filet mignon, again the presentation was lovely however she found the meat touch (she thought it fresh beef rather than aged). Her starter was an absolutely fantastic Foie gras. My brother-in-lawâs selection was the steak tartare which he said he would order again. Another lovely evening in Normandy. Price range 30E to 75E including wine.

We ate lunch here with our granddaughter between Versailles and Monet's Garden in Giverny. We arrive as they opened and was quickly filled with locals. Our guide knew the owner who started us with fabulous complimentary appetizers. The salmon was great as were the steaks, escargots and fish. Our twelve year old granddaughter loved playing on the vintage video games (PacMan) while we visited. Service and ambiance were perfect. Highly recommend.

Spend a pleasant time in our restaurant in Vernon. Open for lunch from Tuesday to Sunday and evenings from Tuesday to Saturday. Come to discover our kitchen made in ERISAY both traditional and creative. Let yourself be surprised by our living room lounge,
We called in on the off chance of getting a table without a reservation and were made most welcome. The venue is spotless, it's only been open for 3 years, and is becoming established. The Gigot d'agneau was brilliant. You must add this to your listhello, thank you for your opinion and comments from the team of Estampille-by-Erisay. We are very happy to have met your expectations. Looking forward to welcoming you again.

We were only in Vernon/Giverny for a night, but fortunately our hotel booked for us in advance. The room is small and lively, and it fills up fast. Great oysters, lovely mixed salad, eggs with chanterelles, and fantastic lasagna were on our menu. A dinner special offers 3 courses for 21 euros and 4 for 29 euros-plus a glass of good wine! Bargain or not, go because the food is excellent. I couldn't manage dessert, but my husband tried the sorbets and loved them. Service is a bit pressed when the place is full, but we were there to relax and had nowhere else to be.

Was recommended for our family when our kids (4 and 7) were very tired, and we were staying close by. Service was friendly and helpful, it was nice to see plenty of French locals welcomed there as the evening progressed. Food was typical and nicely executed - a solid choice for a quick, tasty family feed.

In France, truckers geberally know the best places: cheap, plentiful, good food. This restaurant used to be a trucker's place, but in time it upgraded to a nice countryside restaurant with the same qualities as before - just a little more sophisticate and less cheap of course... But the quality-price ratio is fine, the food is good, traditional French cuisine with all its qualities, based on quality products. Try it!

Small, very traditional restaurant that didn't disappoint. The owner was on her own, spoke great English and made us feel very welcome. We ate very well, the highlight being my apple tarte tartin....light and delicious. Thank you for your advice and we hope you come back when you come again in france.Best regards and have a nice day

The restaurant was built in a former renovated farm building, called Domain Of The Hedge Of Barns! A Zen and very luxurious place right in the middle of the campaign! All the dishes are make house! The restaurant has an attraction, the "Bubble", being abl
Set in a country courtyard of stone built buildings- a lovely setting for dining outside or in. We did both on our two visits.Excellent parking. There is a Pod in the garden for private dining by arrangement- looked fun. The restaurant interior is quite contemporary in contrast to the exterior surrounds. Nice furnishings and quite light though some of the décor items were not to our taste and spoiled the rest. Service was very good and the set course menus choice good as was the a la carte and all at very reasonable prices. The wines were also reasonably priced. Limited selection on the cheese course but fine. Our meals were well cooked, well presented and tasted very good. Would go again when in the area.

We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Saturday night whilst passing thru this area. The welcome and service overall were excellent - we were really well looked after. The food was delicious particularly the fish and the cookie dessert was wonderful! Good value too.
