In a tiny pastoral village, where there are far more fruit trees and grape vines than people, this is a friendly and serious culinary destination. The number of foreign automobile plates and the steady stream of locals confirms that a table here is prized. The menu tends to lean towards Alsatian specialties, but there are additional choices for those with a gastronomic bent.Yes, we have had more sensational meals elsewhere, but the welcome is genuine, the service prompt and professional, and the quality and skill evidenced by the kitchen very evident. While the inside of the restaurant looks inviting, the chance to eat outside on their patio on a warm afternoon is the preferred choice.

I admit I wasn't expecting much when I selected Chez Mimmo. There are few restaurants in Molsheim and the others were closed or required reservations. And the exterior hardly suggested good food was to be found inside. What a pleasant surprise! I ordered the tortelloni with cream and mushroom sauce and it was excellent! And at 12 euros, much more affordable than many other options in this region. The wine the was excellent as well, as it should be in a region known for its whites. The service was mixed...one server was efficient and friendly, but another was friendly and had to be asked three times to refill my drink. In all though, I definitely recommend a visit if you find yourself in Molsheim.

This restaurant is situated in the centre of the little walled town of Boersch. It serves a variety of food including snacks and more substantial dishes. We ate there twice during our stay in the area. The first evening my husband chose ravioli with mushrooms while I chose melon and cured ham, served with a little glass of port and a salad. We followed this with ice cream. On the second occasion we both chose tarte flambée (an Alasation speciality, rather like a pizza also known as flammekueche) which proved excellent. Prices are modest.

I chose the restaurant as a âFrench restaurantâ since I like to âgo localâ when I visit different countries. That said Molsheimâs proximity to the German border meant that there was a strong German influence in the cuisine - not sure I am a big fan of sauerkraut (). The restaurant is right in the centre of Molsheim in a fabulous building. I arrived at the restaurant with no reservation and was immediately shown to a table. As a single diner and a lone woman I was given a table in a corner by the toilets. In my experience single diners often end up near the kitchen or near the toilets!). I forgot being in France was a âfamily occasionâ until my neighbours took their seat with their dog in tow - reinforcing my corner of the restaurant was allocated, at least on this night to the âmore unusualâ diners. However the dog behaved impeccably even when we had a loud thunder crack. The portions were very generous and the food was good however my server frequently used my table as a temporary âdumping groundâ to leave her tray as she dealt with adjacent tables which I was not entirely happy about. I did receive an apology when a piece of cutlery was dropped by me. Would I come back - yes I probably would despite dining solo I was not hurried out of the premises and enjoyed a leisurely dinner.

We have spent one night in Dorlisheim and reserved a table in the Stuebel. Quality of the food is ok, portions are large and prices reasonable though a little on the higher side. A negative point is the desorganized service. Staff should really take notes to order correctly in the kitchen. Here some modifications in the service would add a great amount of value. We waited one hour for the dessert (at least were then offered the apero for free). However staff was very friendly !!

We were on our way to fort Mutzig and looking for something to eat at noon in the neighbourhood. We passesd this restaurant and the terrace was very inviting, so we stopped and took our lunch in Anatable. We were a little afraid when we saw that they offered a 'plat du jour' for only 8 euros. We took the 16 euros menu (starter and main course) and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food!Service was prompt without being to fast! Friendly waiters! Nice and very clean toilets, whenever we would be around again, we would certainly visit them again!Price quality rapport is extremely good!

The head chef and his team prepare an inventive and refined cuisine. They revisit the Alsatian specialties, adding a modern touch that will surprise and delight your senses. They impresses with a modern yet typical Alsatian and traditional cuisine. Our ch
In Molsheim their are several traditional restaurants so I normally would not have considered a modern hotel restaurant However, my first choice of restaurant didn't respond to my emails and my second choice restaurant was closed on the night in question. So, as time was running out, I contacted the Hotel Diana who quoted a very reasonable cost for a three course evening meal. The menus were good and when we arrived we received a very warm, personal reception by a young gentleman who spoke excellent English. The food and wines were excellent, and though the decor of the restaurant was very modern it was an altogether delightful experience. I would recommend it!

In the middle of the small Village, we found this hidden gem. We were looking for an authentic restaurant, and Basilic is definitely one. We started our dinner with: Basilic salad with mozzarella and grilled ham, which was fresh and tasty. We also had Parma Pizza with prosciutto and rocket green. Our main courses were: An Alsatians baked macaroni with ham and melted cheese, a selection of 3 raviolis' filled with spinach, Gorgonzola cheese and escargot which was a delicious choice. For desert we ordered the Banana Split and cafe gourmet. Overall it is an excellent restaurant, good quality of food for moderate prices.

My partner and I attended this restaurant last month and were looking forward to good food having read various reviews on Tripadvisor. However, we were extremely disappointed on the quality of food served to us.A small overpriced portion of foie gras was served along with a bread roll suitably hard enough to be fired from a cannon. My partner had a starter of salmon served with little care and attention. For the mains, veal and rissotto were chosen, the former being overcooked and tough round the edges accompanied by vegetables which appeared to be "Chinese in style". The rissotto was underseasoned, stodgy and had a covering of large chunks of dry chicken - bascially thrown together with little care regarding presentation.Considering we were in the restaurant for about two and a half to three hours and a small amount of dishes are on offer, the quality of the food and the way it is presented is extremely poor and not worth the money.
