The white fish was divine. Excellent food and excellent service. The two cheese selections were completely different, but both were very good. I loved the chocolate drop at the very end. In addition, our waiter was very attentive, and he appeared at just the right moments. I asked for a dry white wine and he brought back just that. We were able to sit outside due to the weather and felt fortunate because the garden is so beautiful. We would highly recommend La Griotte to all of our friends.

We really enjoyed this restaurant - great food , superbly presented . Unusual and interesting combinations of flavours . Pretty competitive pricing - we paid about 100 euros for two of us ( aperitif , 0.5 bottle of wine , 3 courses and coffee ) Pleasant decor , tables well spaced , nice buzz and extremely friendly staff .

I will come back. It is a great restaurant close to Ile de France region. In less than 40 minutes drive you are in a very charming little village and restaurant. The " toque blanche" is really a nice place to enjoy the ceremony of a festive dinner. Located in a lovely village of the Ile-de-France, it offers a refined decoration and a peaceful atmosphère. Well, this restaurant is not cheap at all, but it is worth it. The "croustillant de homard" is inventive and full of savour. The " tête de veau sauce gribiche " cooked following the grand mother 's recipe is a real must. Take your time to enjoy the menu - but never come if you are in a hurry.Do not forget to congratulate the chef: he will tell you lots of stories of the past times. It is part of the charming atmosphere.

Well, I would be writing a food review, but was turned away, told by a waitress that they were full as we were standing inside next to three empty tables. She might at least have had the grace to say those tables were reserved, or the kitchen was closed, or suggested somewhere else!Given it two stars because there were people looking happy at the tables outside (which is why I went in!)

Belle décoration,un beau jardin, une salle privatisable, ancienne caserne de pompier, belle salle de restaurant, une équipe chaleureuse.
This is a new restaurant in Montfort which has always missed a good restaurant. This is not a gatronomic restaurant but meat is good; starters are also good. This is a place where you end up being quite satisfied if you chose simple dishes which don't need complex cooking (a little like Costes Restaurant in Paris, where simple dishes are excellent and sophisticated ones disappointing). The place is original as an old firemen location. A plus is also that one can park the car in the courtyard of the restaurant

I was here for a business meal with other 8 colleagues. The restaurant is in a pretty small village. The restaurant has different rooms where you can enjoy the meal in a reserved and lovely atmosphere. The food was good, with a nice (but limited) selection of entrees and main courses. Wine list was ok. We really enjoyed the service.

Nice and cosy place located at the entry of the village, it even offers a terrace. The staff is nice, polite and efficient.A very tempting menu with seafood, fish and meat as well as a selection of vegetables.A few authentic French specialties to try if you are passing by.Besides, the village is a beautys, so to digest after a good meal, it is worth taking a stroll there.

We paid 84 euro for two: two courses each, one half bottle of wine. I had dried out duck liver on a dried out blini on some kind of pumpkin puree to start followed by three scallops and one very small piece of salmon as a main course. It was one of the worst meals I have eaten in a long time. And 84 euro for two for such poor quality - I will be writing a letter of complaint directly to the restaurant. We are local in the area and ahve tried most all the restaurants in St Quentin en Yvelines. This is one that we will NEVER go back to. The only positive was the service.
