It's not yet another pizza/pasta restaurant. The pizzas and pasta served are fantastic, great service, good selection of wines, and very friendly atmosphere (restaurant of 6 tables).

I completely agree with the previous review. We had exactly the same experience. We stumbled across this restaurant accidentally. We just needed somewhere to stay after a long drive from Italy. The food was magnificent, nicely presented and the ladies who were serving us were very helpful in explaining the menu in English as our French was rather limited (they even used a dictionary). Normally we do not order any desserts. However, after enjoying our starters and main courses we decided that we had to try their desserts as well - we went for the dessert testing menu with no regrets as each small dish was absolutely delicious. Don't be put off by the fact that the restaurant is attached to a 2 star hotel.

Its only the French that can make a basic American dish much much better than the Americans!!! Leave it to the French to create an unforgetable gastronomique experience out of a simple hamburger. Everything is home made with ultra fresh ingredients and combined with an effortless french flair. My fellow compatriots please do not judge my words before trying "Chez Moi" in a little village called Saint jean de Tholome on your way to the magnificient French Alps.

We really like to have lunch at Le Petit Café on Saturdays. Always lively, very good food (hamburgers, entrecôte, salades, quiches, etc). Staff is very friendly and prices are also really ok. We have eaten there many times and will go back again.

If you travel close to La Roche Sur Foron,I strongly recommend you to stop at Pizzeria L'Entre D'eux where you will taste one of the best pizza in the area! The restaurant room is small so please don't forget to book your table on the evening, the boss speaks english wich is very appreciated! It's easy to park on the road down to the Pizzeria, and only 20 mn from geneve city center! The quality of the products and the raisonnables rates of those well served Pizzas makes L'Antre D'eux one of my favorite restaurant in the area!Génial!! merci bcp..!-Antoine&Cathy-

I was there just because our traditional restaurant in La Roche was full on that day (a Thursday), and I had a very pleasant surprise. Small restaurant but very nicely decorated. Extremely kind staff, and excellent food.I had the "Saucisse de Morteau" (sausage from the Franche-Comte region in east France), which was just excellent, combined with a great red wine.Definitely will go back next time !

This is a small restaurant in La Roche, consisting of several tables both inside and outside. Dining outside on a warm night was truly a pleasant experience. The menu was somewhat limited but I found the selections to be creatively original. The food did not disappoint, either. Truly flavorful. This is a great little restaurant in a small town with lots of potential.

Good value menu du jour at lunchtime - 12.50 euros plat and 14.50 entrée & plat. Limited choice à la carte at lunch with wider choice in the evenings. We had an excellent filet de fera (local freshwater fish) and a good salade campagnarde. Friendly professional service with good wine by the glass. Very popular and fills up quickly at lunchtime so worth reserving a table.

1st time I have felt compelled to write a review probably suggests the disappointment in the meal I had at Vicolo yesterday (that and the title of the review). Setting nice, staff friendly, starters pleasant, steak awful. Meat was tough, stale and not enjoyable. I was offered a pasta dish as an alternative, which I declined, Amazed to find that steak was charged on the bill although coffee was comped. Waiter did advise 'off the record' that he had tried the steak and understood why it had been returned to the kitchen.I'm the waiter who served this costumer and i would like to reply this coment. I said to him that the meat come from the best butchery of Geneva ( boucherie de Molard). I also told to him that the Chef said me "the meet was good".The same evening we served the same meat to other customers and they told us that the meat was perfect. That reason we charged on the bill, because the meet was in good conditions as usually. Maybe this is a matter of tastes as I said to him. It is a subjective matter. I'm also can to say that maybe the customer didn't understand me because I'm not a native english.
