Bienvenue au lièvre gourmand. Cuisine gastronomique moderne et créative dans un restaurant haut de gamme au style épuré.
A thoroughly memorable dinner at this single Michelin starred restaurant where the stars of the evening were of course the Chef Tristan and his maître d' wife Emily. The Asian French fusion loses nothing in its experimentation and every course from the delectable amuse-bouche to petit fours were simply delightful without a single failure. A rarity with a courageous menu.A â¬51 per person, the in effect 4 plus 2 courses, the restaurant delivers amazing value especially given the fair pricing of the wine list.During the course of service Tristan mentioned that his wife Emilyâs favourite restaurant was Ezards in Melbourne Australia from where we reside and be assured as good as Ezards is, you Tristan have it well and truly covered. My only two small criticisms are that firstly the gentleman doing the pre-dinner drinks was a little gruff and secondly given the Loire festival was on parking and access was nigh impossible and an alert in an email to clients would have been appreciated.

Steakhouse
Visited Orleans on an overnight stop on the last leg of our holiday, so fancied a treat, after a walk round, we found this steakhouse, and what a treat it was, the steaks were cooked perfectly and the desserts were amazing! Would highly recommend.

Visited here last Sunday for lunch with family (do book - they get busy). Excellent food, smart surroundings decorated in North African fashion. Service friendly and very efficient. We chose the 'Mosaique' Couscous at just under 20 euros a head and were glad we didn't have a starter - portion sizes are generous and refills of couscous, semolina (& sides of raisins & chickpeas) were brought promptly when we requested it. We will certainly return when next in the area!

My wife and I recently had dinner at Chez Jules in Orleans and very much enjoyed the experience. Although there were definite language issues, the very friendly hostess was able to effectively communicate the menu choices. Dinner was outstanding. I had the ris d'agneau and it was excellent. Service was very good. I would definitely recommend Chez Jules to anyone looking for dinner in Orleans and look forward to returning myself.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We turned up without a booking but they gave us a good welcome. The food was excellent and good value for money

We were lucky to secure the last table in this small atmospheric restaurant in the heart of Orléans - close to the Cathedral without an air of the tourist trap. Delightful menu using local produce and good selection of regional wines.Happy to recommend.

As soon as we arrived we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The menu was only in French, but our waiter took the time to translate the meals into English for us.When the food was served it was simply delicious. The flavours were out of this world.Highly recommended visit when in Orleans......that is if you can get a table. This place is booked weeks in advance.Bonjour,Un immense merci pour votre très joli message!Au plaisir de vous retrouver très prochainement,Très cordialement,Marie Laure Sterne

This is a typical French restaurant characterized by the tasty, homemade cooking and a fine selection of mature cheeses from different regions. Chez Dionysos prides itself in using only fresh products and offering the great options for wine by the glass.
I know that the high temperature (34 C) was unusual for Orleans, but the lunch suffered this issue. Table was outside on the walkside under a small tent. The host was kind. Fois gras was good, the raw meat was very good. Coffee dessert was curious, but not great.

On the positive side the food looks good on the plate. But (unexpectedly) sitting outside on one of the hottest days of the year we didn't relish the flying insects and bites we received. Maybe if we've been sat nearer the insect repellent burners it would have been less stressful. Better still offer the air conditioned interior. The food was not seasoned to my taste and I've had much better value in the many other restaurants we've eaten in worldwide. In the main the service was ok and as expected at this level but I prefer waiters to leave me to pour my own wine when I want it and don't keep interrupting our conversation. Just by asking they would know how to handle this. But worse was the waitress who just reached across my plate and dropped a bread roll in front of me! I prefer it when people ask if I want bread and then place it in front of me rather than drop it from a height. In most restaurants at this level diners are served from the right and not reached across. Left or right .. I don't mind provided they are courteous and not rushing to get all the bread on the tables.Overall I personally felt the experience was pretentious. We often dine at Michelin starred establishments so are not dining amateurs, we know what to expect. Interestingly a few nights later we had a low cost set menu at a busy restaurant. The food there was tasty, service superb, the price a third of this restaurant and the positive experience memorable. Sadly at Cote Saveur we remember it for the wrong reasons.

Sacrés Best Wine List of the Year edition 2017 by the journal Terre de Vins, Sabine & Laurent BROCHARD are installed in 2011 in the very old place of the 3 Maries to open their Wine-Restaurant. The Kitchen welcomes you to the ground floor and then to disc
We luckily got into this restaurant at short notice. I'd have to say it's is one of the best restaurant experiences we've had whilst in France. The couple who run it are passionate about their wine and food. We don't speak French and the wonderful lady who is in charge of the floor carefully and meticulously explained each dish in English. My mouth was literally watering at the descriptions. The waiter was also super friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding and they have a fantastic range of delicious wines by the glass (they keep the bottles in special machines to keep the open bottles airtight and at the perfect temperature) They suggested the perfect wines to match our dishes and each one was spot on. Overall the price was very reasonable considering the outstanding quality. The service was friendly and professional without being overbearing. The food was amazing. Don't miss this and you should reserve ahead to ensure a spot.
