The restaurant is just near the sea. You can eat sea food and fresh fishes.
At first glance, this looked promising. Recommendations from the better guides, good reviews on the French version of trip advisor. A plateau of fruits de mer on an adjoining table looked great. The wine list revealed Mailly and Lallier champagnes, the latter in both full and half bottles - both great choices. And then the chef got involved. Maybe if weâd had those fruits de mer weâd have left happy, but what they managed to do to a half lobster and a brill left us very sad. The lobster, presumably fresh from their tank, was dried out and bland. The chef had, sadly, discovered a spiralizer before adding a salad. The brill was better but the accompaniments were reminsicent of something you might be served on a rainy winterâs day in Antwerp. Where was the innovative cooking the French trip advisor spoke of?Service, as some others have noted, is amateurish. Interest in customers non-existent. Who cares why we sent so much back? No-one at this restaurant. But we did like that Lallier...

On holiday we met some of our family for dinner. Table reserved we sat down and two or three times the waitress said she'd give us 5 minutes to choose, such was their consideration.Starters looked like main courses. I had the herring salad followed by canard, with salad and frites. The duck breast was large, medium cooked, sliced thinly and served with, my choice, mushroom sauce . . . absolutely delicious! I'd say this is one of the best meals I've had anywhere . . Staff were very good, even sorting out dividing our bill on their till. If in Granville, pay this place a visit, excellent all round!

Very nice dining experience in this little restaurant beside the harbour. The hosts were charming and attentive, the restaurant was calm despite being busy.We had a little starter of prawn puree with coconut milk, followed by superbly cooked scallops served on a piping hot plate with a delicious sauce. The main course of local white fish was really very well cooked and beautifully presented. I did not have dessert, but friends had what looked like bombes of chocolate mousse with pear and apricot which looked divine. A great meal.

Picorette is a nice place for tea time. You can drink (and buy) an amazing selection of tea (free tasting of their tea of the day).We all enjoyed the pastries. We had: crumble, moelleux au chocolat and Pasteïs de Nota (a sort of Portuguese flan).

If you like good food and attentive knowledgable staff then this the place to go.Set in the heart of the town everything is excellent, the good well thought out and beautifully presented meal was a pleasure, we were guided through the wine list by our helpful server who had a real passion for the food presented. Pity we live so far away as this would be a regular haunt for that special meal bravo looking forwards to our return.Thank you.

We sneaked a table when they were fully booked (got lucky). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with translating the restaurant menu. The meat was top class although our medium rare steak was cooked a little more than I would have chosen. I had veal and my guests chose Beef and duck. All were part cooked and finished on the open wood fire.

Welcome to La Grange de Tom! The restaurant is located on "the most beautiful kilometre in France", facing the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. You will savour a panoramic view in a warm ambiance. In fine weather, you can use our patio for your lunch and dinner
We visited this restaurant for lunch having read the great reviews. Perhaps we were unlucky but we found the service appalling. The waiter was very snooty, trying to speak in poor English whilst I would have better understood him in French! We ordered the entree and mains from the formule menu and got the mains and dessert. We asked for plain water which never arrived although other diners received theirs. The waitress spent all her time making eyes at the barman so perhaps this was the reason our order was wrong? We then had to ask twice for our bill by which time we were losing patience. We had intended visiting again for my birthday meal but by the time we left that idea had taken flight, we will look elsewhere. We are by no means difficult customers, we have travelled all over France and never had such rude service. In the USA it would be unimaginable. The food was excellent but didnât make up for way we were treated.

Found this place on a quiet Thursday evening. Had the set two course menu for â¬16.90. Delicious steak with beautifully presented vegetables. Followed by brownie with caramel sauce and cream. My mother also had the steak and opted for the lemon cream dessert. Everything was delicious!

If you are staying in Granville, or traveling nearby, this is a fine dining address to keep in mind. It's about a 20 minute drive down the coastal road and through the center of an intervening village. Tastefully decorated, immaculate and with a skilled mastery of seafood, one can have a very enjoyable meal here at a very fair price. After a few weeks along the coast, we were in the mood for something that didn't swim for our main course-so we opted for pintade-and the fowl was beautifully prepared and enhanced by a garnish of fresh vegetables. Still, we didn't pass-up the "coquillage" entree, a generous portion of oysters, shrimp and snails-all of which were premium quality. The service, by family members is thorough and proper, albeit a bit distant. The wine list is fairly extensive for a small country restaurant. Stronger spirits are available, but hopefully someone else is driving. If your GPS is as clueless as our was, it might suggest you go down to the beach. THe restaurant is right on the road, and you will see it. The beach road dead ends at what I would call a boat ramp heading right into the water. A small access road parallel to the beach is barricaded. The restaurant has its own parking lot, so don't make that the dead end mistake.A nice dessert added to the enjoyment of our meal. Pity the coffee was rather weak.
