We had a very nice dinner here last night - authentic Portuguese cuisine served up in generous portions in a small dining area of a cafe. Try the cod beignets, they are really good. It was just as good as anything we had on various trips to Portugal. They serve up salted cod in all different ways. The service was efficient and friendly enough. Don't be put off by the bar/cafe aspect, the food is really good and good value for money.

French restaurant has fresh produce, welcome, open from Monday to Friday, summer terrace.
We were staying down the road in a fairly nondescript hotel and stumbled upon this place. Highly recommended. The menu is good and the food very good. Small, but good selection of wines and a cosy atmosphere. There is a terrace out the back. Excellent and friendly staff, good chef. Great.I am very touched, thank you.DINA

Three and a half years ago my wife and I had the great fortune of, completely by chance, discovering a newly opened restaurant on the edge of the old town of Versailles. We knew from the off we'd found something quite special and over the last three years its been a delight to watch a story develop of one of France's great culinary talents not just find his feet, but thrieve, gaining a michelin star in his first year and opening a sister bistro a year after that. Since our fitst visit we have since dined at either Table du 11, or the sister Bistro du 11 maybe a dozen times and on every occasion, we never fail to be impressed. Having been fortunate enough to have dined at 40+ Michelin one or two star establishments, very few can hold a candle to Table du 11. It is, in terms of both service and cuisine, head and shoulders above any other one star restaurant we have dined at and indeed superior to maybe half of the two star restaurants we have frequented. To deliver such consistency, whilst also providing no little invention is indeed a rare thing. In essence if you get the chance to dine here youd be a fool not to take it.

I'm not disappointed about the quality of the food and their service, I really enjoyed the recommendations of the hostess; however, I found it a bit overpriced in the end. I consider they are doing a pretty good job, the ambiance is nice and they are very friendly and definitively will go again when staying in the neighborhood.

Lovely Friday night, English speaking kind staff. I made reservations through the phone. Nice music inside, better go there as a group and taste many dishes as much as you can. Spend the whole night. Delicious Brie with truffles on the cheese platter. We haven't tried the cheeseburger and heard afterwards its quite famous. So give it a try!

I really liked the feel and look of this place: the indoor room is of rustic style with a fire place, large wooden tables, whereas outside offers a great garden terrasse. The food was overall good and very nicely presented. I was however disappointed with my main course: the fish was not very good and the rice served as side was badly cooked.

Quaint traditional French cafe in small neighborhood plaza visited this evening. Offer a classy but approachable interior and a relaxed, outdoor patio near another restaurant and plenty of seating. Arrived on a weeknight while in the area on business...no reservation... and received a warm neighborhood welcome by every member of the wait staff who were delighted to help introduce items on the menu and ensure we were well taken care of. Menu offers a range of classics and innovative dish specials. Favorite dish was grilled asparagus over a savory pastry with foamed cream and herbs over this with a hint of spice...delicious. Many tables taken on an everyday Tuesday evening reminded us further they take pride in this restaurant and all guests. Bravo. Would recommend and would gladly return when in the area again.

It seems difficult to find a good-quality restaurant in St Quentin en Yvelines so we decided to try Le Carre for lunch. We each had the lunch special (16 euros 50) - it was carpaccio de boeuf and a red fruit mousse for dessert. I had a glass of wine and my wife had water. With two coffees the bill came to 45 euros (for two) which is relatively reasonable given the quality of the food. The decor is simple and contemporary - there is an open kitchen. The service was efficient - there were not too many customers when we were there. We will come back for dinner some time soon to see how that is.
