My wife and myself are currently visiting Provence as part of a 40-strong Great Rail Journeys Tour Group and earlier today we visited the lovely Village of Lâisle-sur-la-Sorgue where we lunched at the riverside (one of many) restaurant La Balade des Saveurs. The staff looked after us very well and the delicious 3-course meal (Smoked Salmon, Shepherds Pie & Crete Caramel topped with chocolate) was accompanied with wine. The Group - who were all seated together in the outside area by the river - certainly went away happy and this is Restaurant I would have no difficulty in recommending to other visitors.

It was a hot July afternoon and had an early dinner. The staff were super friendly and had great communication without speaking English. The local wines were great. We had a quick bite in mind and ended up staying there for hours. Highly recommended

Experience modern Provençal cuisine for lunch or dinner in our restaurant whilst enjoying unforgettable views of the Luberon and the Alpilles. Or perhaps join us for a coffee or an aperitif on our terrace. Located at the Golf de Saumane in the heart of Pr
I recently stayed in the residences near the restaurant. My wife and I came last year, and this year we brought our children. We wanted to try out the restaurant, as we didn't last year, and we're so happy we did. The views are absolutely stunning, and they've added on a whole outside structure to make all the tables on the patio useable even in high wind or rain. Accompanied with the views is the delicious food. We ate there for two nights and four lunches, and never had a bad meal. The kids ate a children's meal but most of the time they loved the 'adult' food. Guinea fowl, gazpacho of melon, a beautifully cooked steak and duck, non-stop excellence! The service above all completed the experience!Dear Giancarlo, how nice of you that you took some of your time to write about your experience in our restaurant Les Fontaines Du Gerfaut. I am delighted that you enjoyed it so much, all the team is working very hard to make every customers happy and its so good when we read the sort of comment you wrote.Hope to see you on your next visit in ProvenceRegards

A nice bistro which offers an extensive selection of brunch food, seating outdoor terrace for enjoying a laid back afternoon with a bottle of domestic rose wine made by grenache and cinsult at 20â¬, that's the best deal you can find in town.

We were on a 30kms cycle ride and approaching Saumane we hadn't realised how steep the hills were, however to find this gem with its wonderful setting overlooking the valley, the smell of the pine trees, hospitable staff and excellent food and wine all was forgiven, and it was downhill from there!

We have loved this restaurant; the food, the service, and the ambiance have always been more than deserving of their high accolades. Today, however, we encountered service unparalleled. When my purse fell into the Sorgue River and was on its way out to sea, lovely Natalie, the sommelier, kicked off her shoes, climbed over the rail and swam to rescue my bag. Her chic black outfit and beautiful red braid were dripping wet when she returned but she only had a smile and gracious words. This is the kind of service and employee that deserves the highest of praise, and is exemplary of the attitude of the entire staff. We look forward to returning for more wonderful meals!Thank you so much for your kind and warm coments, I hope that no one else will take the idea from reading your review to test Natalie's or the rest of the team swimming abilities :-) Our warmest regards, we will remember you for sure and look forward to welcoming you back at Le Vivier

We had lunch here one December day, when most other resaturants in the village were closed. Petrarque and Laure was quite busy. My Gambas were not the freshest, and were overcooked, definitely a poor choice. My wife's chicken plat du jour was OK. Dessets of one chocolate fondant and one Dame Blanche were again, average. So all in all, a safe stop if all you want is a meal to stem the hunger, but don't expect one of those wonderful Provencal lunches this area is famed for.

Great local near to the river. We had a lunch in a beautiful sunny clear day. The fish and seafood was fantastic. Really a typical nice meal in France and of course with a special rose wine.

This restaurant, on the main plaza of Fontaine de Vaucluse, was formerly La Colonne. We enjoyed a lovely dinner there on a balcony overlooking the plaza. Great food and service. We highly recommend it.
This restaurant stood out above the others in the village, not just because it didnât seem as âtouristyâ, but as it has a nice balcony overlooking the square - Iâd suggest booking for a balcony table. The food was very good (set menu) and the owners were friendly, one chose the wine both nights and it was not overpriced. Just really nice.
