Our hotel in Tournon-Sur-Rhône recommended this restaurant. We needed to take a taxi there which was quite expensive for the short distance. The restaurant is located away from the town surrounded by vineyards. Most of the tables are outdoors in the patio and the indoor tables are in a depressing room. It is better to sit outside. The meal was very good but I would not say it was exceptional and the menu was limited in choices.

I was late for lunch and was looking for an open restaurant with availability when I found this restaurant a bit away from the busy part of Tain-l'Hermitage. They had one table free, otherwise all other tables were busy with locals. The host was very friendly and the menu was simple but fine for me.When I received the food, I was very pleased. A good meat dish of Filet mignon (pork) with nice sides and a selection of deserts (I selected the tart). All for EUR 12.The wines were fine and the service and ambiance was good.

Dining alone, I was so pleased to be treated so well. It was an absolutely fabulous evening. They were at least 38 persons who were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire dining experience fantastic. The flavors were absolutely delicious, unusual, and perfect servings. The fish was fresh. What I was most impressed by is that although I did the large tasting menu, they were able to accommodate my likes and dislikes. The pricing was very reasonable, about US$110 for over 10 dishes, a fantastic cheese cart and three glasses of wine. Would definitely make this a stop and detour for any trip in the future. One of BEST one star Michelin I have ever dined!!

The food is fresh and delicious without any unnecessary add-ons. The different vegies were all prepared to perfection with an amazing natural taste and the duck has been roastet to the point. The octopuss in the appetizer was absolutely smooth. Service was very warm and welcoming. Its a small place with just a few tables in a small side street. Interiors may not be the fanciest but cozy.

We had a tour of la chapelle overlooking the vineyards of Paul Jaboulet. We returned to their shop and restaurant. It was so good! We were very well looked after and sampled some amazing wines. The meal was very well presented and tasted really good.

We were visiting some of the wine producers in the area and were looking for somewhaere for a simple lunch. we found it right here.Charming and friendly welcome and subsequent service. The restaurant quickly filled up, interestingly with nearly all females who were clearly regulars. The lunch-time set menu was reasonably priced and looked very good but we chose a starter, a shared cheese platter and a dessert from the a la carte menu. The cooking was excellent and the presentation was retrained and attractive. The list of wines by the glass was a stunning selection of local products. Big well done for that.It made a pleasant wine themed day even better.

Had dinner here when staying at the hotel, a very enjoyable meal. Service was charming and efficient, well above average. The dining room was interesting in itself, rustic and obviously a converted farm building. We chose from the set menu which offered local regional dishes and enjoyed every mouthful. When asking for an alternative to the potato side dish, which my wife enjoyed, I was given a risotto that in itself was quite exceptional. Fresh local ingredients used imaginatively and skilfully provided a wonderful meal at a reasonable cost. Local wines on the list were all well priced and those we chose did not disappoint.Would strongly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.
