Every time I booked a table at the Reboul I know that I won't be dissatisfied. The food is delightful, colorful and most of all tasteful, a surprise and an invitation. I like the light atmosphere there,in the summer or spring you can also eat outside the place is very peaceful and it always with great pleasure that I spend time is the château de la pioline.

The food was not bad, but we expected (based on the comments below) a bit more. We received a small card on which (minimum) prices were mentioned for 1, 2 or 3 courses. The card mentioned that they preferred to receive cash money and that they were not happy with payments by credit cards?! The card also mention that a one course meal could not be choosen as there was too little alcochol consumption and that they were not making enough profit? We however received a second card on which this was not mentioned. We choose a two course meal. We were served by a young woman who did not understand french very well (she was obviously new and italian). I ordered pork with sweet sour sauce (i expected to receive something italian but it turned out chinese). My girlfriend took pasta with vegtables. This was not bad but very creamy..conclusion: not bad but only moderate food and price quality a bit dissappointing.

I went to lunch today here today and took the formule which was a plat +dessert for 14 euros. The orchiette (pasta) was fine with a standard ragu and the mouse de frais was small but fine. I had a 50 mL vin blanc from the region and san pelegrino for water so the entire meal was about 40 euros. This was fine for what one received and the patio really was very nice. Also all of the staff were tremendously friendly and concerned that I had enough to eat and that I enjoyed it. Based on this one experience, I would say it is fine to stop at. You won't get gourmet food, but it will be edible for a reasonable price in a nice setting.

We went here when our hotel's restaurant was closed on Sunday. We both had great pizzas and watched World Cup football. The site also has a brisk takeaway trade. The price was moderate and we thought, quite good value.

We are staying in Cabries for a few days.....not really the eating capital of Provence. This restaurant was really nice. The room is very calm and understated (more modern Provencal Style). The food was delicious. We started with a smoked salmon starter and an eggplant lamb dish (served cold, would have enjoyed it more if it were warm). Next my husband had a grilled daurade that was excellent and I had Pieds et Paquettes that was very good. We finished with Profiterolles that were home made and very tasty. The wine list is large with all budgets well covered. The service was very good and reservations are probably advised for dinner.

Average food, we ate different types of pasta with fish and meat. One of us ordered the special pasta with cheese and cognac prepared in front of us. The dishes were ok but nothing special. I didn't particularly liked the type of pasta used ( the thick like buccatini non spaghetti). The ambience is nice.

This is a family run restaurant with an interesting menu- a mix of Italian and French offerings. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The tapenade maison was excellent. Nothing fancy but pleasant surroundings and very good homemade cuisine.

This is probably the real fine dining restaurant of Cabries and bouc belair with a very pleasant terrace with an asian inspired art design. The king of this menu as the name implies is the truffle. Because we were here in the summer, we realized that the overall quality of the truffles would not be that of the fall, during the season. Still the dinner was quite correct. This certainly was not the best meal of the trip and nowhere near the best truffles I've had, but this again may be a reflection of the season. The meal was solid. Having said that and realizing that truffles are expensive, one must admit that the value was not great. If this had been one of those knock your socks off truffle menus then anything is worth the price, but in all three dishes we had, the truffles did not incorporate taste, only texture. For the high prices, that's not really enough so the value, at least this night in summer, was lacking.

I went to l'Instant Braisé having read good reviews on TA, and I was not let down. On a Thursday night it was not crowded, and service was good, and very friendly. I had the half chicken label rouge (they have another one which is a bit more expensive that is "bio" but Label Rouge for me is a sign of quality, so I want for that one, with vegetables of the season. All good. Chicken was not fatty or "soft" like the battery chickens one can find elsewhere, and had good flavour. Was served with sauce on the side. Will return to try the duck which looked good at neighbouring table.
