The fantastic location was the driving force behind eating here, my daughter insisted we have one beachfront meal! I was pleasantly surprised at the good staff and quality food as the whole set up looked a bit formulaic. I had the biggest burger I ever seen in my life!!

After nearly 2 weeks of very mediocre meals in the so say best food country in the world, we actually get to have an excellent meal. We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and went for it. Both my wife and I had the Thai Green Curry and the kids had the staple fayre of fish and frites. The service was friendly. Perfect end to our holiday. Merci!!

Restaurant gastronomique situé face mer avec une carte et des menus renouvelés au moins quatre fois par an. La mer en vue panoramique de la terrasse mais des deux salles également.
After visiting Le Grand Blockhaus and wanting lunch we found La Roche Mathieu a short distance away, right on the coast with excellent sea views. Unfortunately it was too breezy to eat outside but we were given a good window seat. Although not particularly busy the service was on the slow side, but the food was quite good.

We sat out the front and reserved for a party of 10. Kids were happy with their Pizzas, we had the Mussels of the house. The sauce was lovely but the food was a little cold when it arrived. The staff were friendly enough. It was OK but I wouldn't go back there are better places to eat close by.

Of the many Creperies in Le Croisic, there was no particular reason to choose this one besides the smiling staff. We were quickly seated, presented with menus and our orders taken almost immediately it was obvious we were ready. The turnaround was surprisingly rapid, and though I'm not sure I will ever be a big fan of the buckwheat gallette, the fillings were well cooked and tasty. A cup of cider was a new cultural adventure for me, but I know its quite usual here.Friendly service, well cooked food provided quickly - recommended.

Some of the best oysters and langoustines ever. Really good service and a great welcome. They do equally delicious looking non-fish dishes as well. Best to book in the evening at the weekend.

We decided to eat here partly out of chance and partly because it looked like one of the nicest places as we walked up and down the harbour front. We were not disappointed. The Anjou red at â¬2.50 a glass was great, and we were each given an amuse-bouche to start which really was very good. We both chose the moules, I had marnière and my wife had crème, and they were both amazing - the biggest and tastiest moules we've had for a long time. Great frites too that looked and tasted as if they were actually hand made. A great dessert of crepes topped it all off and we were two very happy customers. A Nice restaurant, nice friendly staff, and good value for money

I do agree with a previous review. Owner comes to each table to shake hand. Can be interpreted in different ways. Boat-style decoration of the main room. Terrasse available. Service is friendly, sweet accent of moldavian waitress. Dress style is ambiguous.Food was good. Oysters for me, crab for my wife (if it is tourteau, fine, but skip the spider-crab, not enough meet inside). i found the place over-priced. We did not return

The food at the bistro side of the restaurant was delicious. The assorted seafood/shellfish was an adventure in eating, down to the needle pick required for periwinkles. The lotte wrapped in bacon over sautéed cabbage with potatoes three ways was really good. Service was somewhat disjointed, but they seemed to be missing some staff at opening at 7:15 pm. We had to ask for the olives that came to another table as a nibble. Surprised that the staff was not more facile in English, but we managed with our french. Great sunset view, but must be there early, and with daylight savings time change soon, no view at all in the dark. In addition to the menu, there is a daily special; Thursday was the Lotte. Dear Mule54,We thank you very much for your comment. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your dinner at Le Bistrot. We have well noted your comments regarding the service and I will pass the information to the restaurant team in order to improuve themselve.Looking forward to welcoming you in a near future,Kind regards,Flora & the team

Seats approx 50 with additional outside tables, faces the sea.
This is a seaside restaurant with a scenic view of the water (and sunset). It is very casual. We went there 3 times in 3 weeks because of two things: the mussels and the french fried potatoes. Les Moules were so good, we had them the 3 different ways they served them: marinieres, a la creme, and roquefort. The portion is quite large and it is served with a bowl of french fries that are long, medium-thin, and crispy. You can eat outside or inside. Although it is not exactly handicap accessible, it is on one floor and the people are so nice and will accommodate you.
