Giant anteaters, howler monkeys, ocelots, endangered jaguars and clouds of butterflies are among the attractions at this World Heritage-designated park that marks the border between Brazil and Argentina. By foot or by raft, explorers can view one of the world's most stunning waterfalls, Iguazu Falls. Among the park's 270 waterfalls, spectacular Devil's Throat combines 14 falls and generates a "perpetual rainbow" in good weather.

The hotel is not a big one and it´s basically 2 floors. I arrived early at the hotel and to my surprise, they were able to provide me a room. I got the first room and I believed I stayed in it for one night, then I requested to move to another room because the toilet seat did not seem well fit to the floor and since I am a large guy, I was not comfortable with it. They got another room right away. I got to give them credit because they are under hotel improvement, so there are lots of materials around the aisle specially on the upper floor. I understand their situation, I mean... they don´t want to close it, so they are doing their best. The rooms were ok but no phone in the room to contact the reception, but it´s just one floor down and I was really close to it. There is a lot to fix to be done including some outlets that were not properly afixed to the walls, so that could be an issue if you have small kids - I would not recommend it for small kids at this point. The hotel location was really good, since it was about 0.3 miles (around 500m) from the mall and about the same distance to one on the main streets from downtown. Location was perfect and there was a pharmacy around the corner. Location again was great. We were in between of Itaipu Complex (to the North) and the Iguaçu Fall (to South). Breakfast was good with breads, cereals, yogurt, juices and sausage with eggs. Staff was nice and I had no issues.

Basic and small room, bathroom is tiny and slightly mouldy. Air con is old and very loud but it does cool the room down eventually. Good sized breakfast included (eg fruit, bread and various cakes) and located in a good spot within 1-2 blocks of restaurants. They were also able to organise transport for us to Iguazu Falls and back to the airport for BRL 15. Adequate place to stay for 1 night if you’re not spending much time in your room.

The breakfast is really good, varied and plentiful. The rest I did not care very much about. Person at reception when I arrived did not understand one single word of english. Rooms and bathrooms are very worn and dated. Beds are exceptionally hard (which I actually like, but many people don't). Aircon could not keep room cool at all. Had to sleep with a damp towel draped over my body.
