I normally eat here every summer in the months of July and August. The sardines for lunch together with the salad is amazing. I haven't had a bad lunch aver at this place. The staff is very friendly and go that extra mile for its clients. During lunchtime it's always crowded, so reserve in advance!

A beautiful restaurant, that came highly recommended by our hotel. The service was friendly and attentive, the wine recommendation excellent. However, the black footed pork, suggested by our waiter, proved to be quite ordinary. It was tough and lacking in flavour, but presented with a good deal of fanfare and flourish. More attention to quality and less flash would be a good idea.

My wife and I enjoyed dining at the restaurante Naco na Pedra. We did not opt for cooking our steaks on a stone. It's a house specialty but I prefer having the chef do the work. The rib steak that I ordered was done perfectly. It was huge. My wife ordered one of the special fillets in sauce. it too was lovely. The side dishes that we ordered included a local bread crumb and kale salad that was a bit salty for my taste but it was also good.
Too full for dessert but had a nice Portuguese red with the steaks.
Lovely service. We worked through our limited Portuguese vocabulary ( and their limited English) with no issues.
Would return.

Found this restaurant nearby to where we are staying. The food is outstanding and the dishes were all of a standard you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant. All the dishes were cooked to perfection with the flavours well balanced and the presentation outstanding....MoreThank you very much for the kindness but we have no pretension to Michelin stars. First we went here for lunch but the day after we returned for diner because the restaurant pleased us very much. The tuna we ordered was excellently prepared which is not evident. There was a lot of staff present talking which each other continuously which could be experienced as annoying.

Decided to have lunch at the Tavola De Pedra while waiting for the agent to arrange viewings (his recommendation). Food was fresh and tasty. Very clean, well presented, friendly and a great barman who made a fantastic gin for my wife.

We were slightly disappointed after Reading other reviews, it was ok but as we have visited lots of indian restuarants it was perhaps not as good as hyped up
Although hot fresh decent food and friendly service and seems to be only indian place around , prices were reasonable

Not to be missed - slightly off the beaten track from what we could see & also easily missed if you don't know it's here - but what a find - a total eating experience - the food is outstanding - best steak I've eaten in years - if you like fish this to also great - don't visit the area & not come here!

After Reading some positive reviews we decided upon an informal dinner. Man was it a great idea! The shrimp were outstanding, succulent, flavourful and perfectly spiced little bombshells of all that is delicious! €8 per portion, I'd have this as dinner everyday but, as I live far away my uric acid levels will remain stable.
We also feasted on the clams, it's astounding how they can pack so much flavour into the glorious sauce. Parsley, garlic and white wine.. and some salt. The perfect combo!
We had more shrimp, this is getting embarrassing but who gives a monkey's.
They wine was a perfect accompaniment and the hot chocolate we had for dessert topped the meal off perfectly.
All this on their Terrace, overlooking the lagoon with the sun setting in the distance.
This is bucket list stuff, a peaceful dinner at sunset overlooking the sea with great service.
