We went new year's Eve for a combined birthday and new year's Eve party. We had fantastic service. The drinks were good, the service was fantastic and friendly. No one had to wait for service at any time. Upstairs is small which makes for intimate contact with staff and the owner - she was great. The food was good. The special was Greek style lamb chops which was gone by 5pm; too bad. The menu description sounded great. The artichoke dip, potato skins and pot-stickers and the dip assortments were some of the best I've ever had. Yes, it is off the beaten path but well worth the drive. Meals are well priced, drinks were strong.

Tomatoes had been recommended to us so we tried dinner. Ordered the ribs for two which was excellent. It was served with a large salad for two and bread sticks. Service was excellent and the restaurant was crowded. We will be going back. The Italian dishes served to the patrons around us looked inviting. The portions are substantial.

Food was good, standard grill fare. They had many house recipes. I ordered a spin on coney island, served in bowl with fries, cut and grilled hot dog smothered with chili. Wife ordered onion rings and olive burger. Another unique item is the decor, a lot of antique garage decor. Definitely worth the trip.

I had a business meeting mid mourning and Uptown was a convenient location for all three of us. We were able to order our drinks at the counter and grab a table. There was a steady flow of customers but it didn't detract from our conversation. Our drinks were served as ordered and no crazy high prices. I will definitely go again.

We are a family friendly restaurant with lots of yummy food. Please come join us and mention if it's your first visit and receive a coupon for a free half order of biscuits and gravy.
Food is great, we noticed a slight increase in prices lately with a menu change. Last two times we have been in the service has declined. Long waiting times to get a server and food, but we always wait because we have always had wonderful food here!

Went here twice on the same day a week ago Saturday. Stopped in during the afternoon with friends while we were on a pub crawl at our local brewpubs / breweries. They had released a chocolate cherry stout earlier that day so I had a pint of it and loved it. Everyone in our group was pleased with their beer selection and the beer each had chosen.
Fast forward and we're at Brewery Becker deciding where we wanted to go for dinner and we all liked what we saw and smelled earlier in the day and returned. The place was busy but we were seated quickly and had a friendly server who was on day 3 of working there. She did all right; missed a few things but nothing that made for a bad dinner. Our dinners were all good, pork sandwich, beef brisket, the burger with brisket. I wish they gave me more Cole slaw with my BBQ pork sandwich but other than that it was good. The craft beer was good and everyone was pleased

We stopped here to try something different and it had decent reviews. It is next to the Marathon gas station. You have to walk through the gas station until you get to a "Old Country Buffet/Cracker Barrel" looking restaurant. It might not look like much, but the portions are MASSIVE! Oh my goodness is the food huge. My chicken fried steak nearly filled the plate. My husband's pot roast was so tender and also filled the plate. Also, everything they served us was hot. Freshly baked bread. Made-to-order meals. We were stuffed half way through.
The best part-$23.00 with tip for two people. Most of their items are $8-$11. It's a great little spot for some country food. They also serve sandwiches, breakfast, and more.
Don't forget to get your $.30/gallon at the gas station!

I wrote a pretty bad review earlier this year, but I was told I needed to give it another try. I recently went back with my wife, and we had a completely different experience. We had a great time and good service. The y had a musician playing as well, which add the the environment. A decent place for a beer and decent food.

Remember the days when you say down for breakfast and the placement had advertising on it? Yep, well this is that place where the coffee never stops flowing.
Garden hash browns with eggs super good, super rich and enough to share. Pancake is so big you can't eat even one.
In the heart of downtown Fowlerville, worth getting off 96 for good eats.

In the heartbeat of downtown Howell, Diamonds Steak and Seafood serves as the premier steakhouse in Livingston County. We are very serious about food, take much pride in our made from scratch recipes, and strive to consistently provide our guests with the very best of all we have to offer. Serving lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Family-friendly environment with on-premise and off-premise catering.
We learned to make a reservation through Open Table and we arrived and received our reservation on time. The poor host staff had difficulty with their ear pieces but was quickly resolved.
Our waitress Marissa was knowledgeable and attentive. Our steaks were cooked to perfection ...medium rare and medium.
The flavors were spot on and good portions. The fried onions on the ribeye are not needed. We liked that sides came with the entrees unlike some other fine dining establishments.
We did save room for the signature carrot cake and met our expectations.
The atmosphere is warm and charming. We did like that a staff member came over and boxed up our food without us asking.
We loved the new location, atmosphere, service and food. We will be back.
