I was the first reviewer of this cafe when it opened, I rated it 5 stars but now the place is a dump, over-priced and staff are just plain rude! They do not deserve even 2 stars!
When they first opened, you were greeted with a friendly smile and "hello", now you get stared at blankly and have to ask if they speak English because the staff says nothing when you talk! They understand English but do not appear to speak English.
The food quality has gone from stellar to poor. I got the two choice combo and with only four to choose from, I just doubled up on the butter chicken which was served with rice. The other three choices were not appealing. The portion sizes are very small. This plate of food cost $11 which is really a snack size.
The container of food was lukewarm which is a communicable disease disaster awaiting! These food service personnel should know that 'hot held' food must be kept at least 60 degrees C., otherwise pathogens multiply exponentially. I would say the temperature was about 45 degrees C.
The sanitation and hygiene of the facility has gone downhill. Every table that I chose to sit at was dirty. I asked the counter person for a clean table, she took the filthy rag sitting on the counter and was about to give it to me for 'ME' to clean my own table! I told her that it would be nice if she cleaned the table: I was shot the angriest stare that I have encountered in ages.
She then went over to spread more contamination by using this filthy rag to wipe the table.
By this time, I just should have discarded my meal box in the trash and had the trash can any room, I probably would have thrown it out. As it was, the garbage can was heaping with trash and littered on the floor.
There were three staff working and one of them could have easily been cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, but instead they seemed more intent on just standing about and doing as little work as possible.
It is a shame that this once nice cafe went from being an enjoyable dining experience to one that is awful.
I will not patronize this location at the airport again. The owner's now appear to be just cashing in on their laurels and providing as little back in order to maximize profits.
Further, I am very concerned about the propensity to acquire a food borne illness due to food being in the temperature danger zone and the lack of sanitation and hygiene.

I've been to Roustabouts twice now; once so long ago I can't recall the meal, but had no negative experiences. Not so this time. Quick, friendly service, fairly warm and busy place. I'd say about 3/4 full and other diners seemed happy enough; mostly meat and potatoes, I'd say. I ordered the 12" 'pesto, spinach, and fresh shrimp' pizza, asked for feta as an add-on. Waited a little longer than I thought necessary, and when it arrived the crust was doughy (never had a doughy crust pizza --- ever) and the centre of the pizza was cold. Pretty clearly underdone. The shrimp were grey and ice-cold. I guess they "cook" the pesto crust then toss on fresh spinach and frozen shrimp. The feta was only partially melted; a clear clue.
There's a difference between "fresh" and raw. To her credit when the server asked about the meal and I said "meh" she seemed concerned and offered to "fix it". I figured by then it was a lost cause and left 1/2 on the plate. Stick to meat and potatoes would be my advice.

No fancy frills, no stuffed shirt attitude. Just real people and great food. Everything you want in a steakhouse - only casual.
I ordered the steak with scallops and shrimp. This is a steakhouse and they know their steaks. Perfect. Wine was good. Salad was quickly served. It was all good. Highly recommended.

Great food. Great service. Nice setting. However however parking is only at metered spots and spots are limited.

Usually good food. I prefer lunch over having dinner here. Not as good later in day, perhaps meat to dry

Okay l am a sushi snob, you either have me or you don't. I have tried sushi all over the country and MOMOS is my standard, now remember this were in FSJ, not Vancouver... So considering where we are Heavens is pretty damn good and way above average, yes some portions could be bigger. But the quality, color and tastes are there and the staff are great.

Didn’t eat but wanted to catch some sports and have a beverage. There are large screens which they had tuned to the three big events that were on at the time (CFL, Baseball and Golf). We sat at the bar, the service was very friendly. A great spot.

We ended up here because we had decided to try someplace we had never been, threw some restaurant names in a hat and this was the winner. What a nice surprise!
This place has character, not in the normal sense because it's just bright and plain, simple tables and chairs and booths, no dim lighting, very Mom and Pop Asian,
but completely appropriate for the place.
We had a sizzling platter noodle dish (sorry the proper Korean name is beyond me) with prawns, chicken and beef with veggies; also beef short ribs in a soy sauce, also on a sizzling platter.
The ribs came with rice and Miso soup which I will say was a good as any I have ever had.
We were alone here on Saturday night, a real surprise given how impressed we were with the service and quality of food.
The menu is very extensive, a huge selection of North American, Japanese, Chinese and Korean selections; incredible really for a relatively small restaurant.
My advice? Please don't pay any attention to the exterior, to call it plain is an understatement; roll in, pull up a chair in the uber simple interior and just enjoy a simple terrific meal.

I stopped here to get Takeout on my way to the airport. The restaurant is new and the interior is beautiful.
I was seated at the bar to wait for my food.
The Takeout was in a bag including cutlery and salt and pepper. The salad I ordered was delicious!
Next time I will stay to dine in.

We went for breakfast there last weekend. Was very disappointed in the meal. Had the special which included waffles (that were good) scrambled eggs ... which were terrible! NO flavour, like microwaved eggs, fluffy with no flavour. Just a yellowish fluffy blob on the plate. Plus hash browns .....which may have been a hash but certainly not browned. Instead was a shredded lump of potatoes, nothing else, and pale white in colour...not browned at all. Was not a good breakfast. I realize every place has an "off" day so may try again to see if better next time...it couldn't get much worse.
